Falls Village Golf Course

Had a 8 some playing in front of us the entire round on Sunday in august, after the round took 5 hours, we usually play 3 hour 30 min round. When round was done I went in to the pro shop to let them know about the situation. Was then told it was not possible that an 8 some played in front of us as their books only had a foursome booked in front of us. Proceeded to tell us we were lying and was extremely rude to my group and the group behind us who went in to complain as well. In total 6 people told them about this incident and we’re all told we were wrong and lying. Also course was in terrible condition, bunkers were unplayable, dirt patches throughout fairways. Expecting a reply to this review telling everyone this didn’t happen. Be warned, this course will never get my business again.

New greens are in really good condition. Housing construction going on all around the course so some things are a little off but that will go away when construction is done. Some people were playing below pace on the front 9 for us so it'd be nice if they kept up or someone enforced pace, but had no problems on the back 9. Really enjoyed it!

This should tell you all you need to know. If your ball goes into any bunker you get free relief. Thats how bad it is

The course is fun to play- greens are good, but as other reviews indicate- the bunkers are empty of sand- so our foursome decided to invoke the free drop rule as they are not possible to play out of.. We might have deemed them water hazards- but that seemed to punishing.

Was reluctant to play Falls Village after reading the reviews. I found it to be in decent condition....other than the fairway on #5. Greens were very good, rolled true and smooth. Yes, the sand traps are nonexistent. Lot of hard pan on the rough lines, but when you did find rough...it is dense bermuda grass. Give the course a try, especially if you can get on for $30 or less.

Recognizing there is, what looks to be, home development going on, the course is absolutely awful. Greens are the best part, but even those still have aeration marks and are as hard as rocks. Sandtraps have zero sand and have more growth through them than the fairways. Rough is hard pan. Has construction nets all around it. Tractors, bulldozers, and earth movers all abound and kick up dust clouds everywhere. Hot as hades out and virtually no water on course.

The course has dirt holes non playable bunkers. Some of the fairways need repairs and grass.

Fairways in much better condition than last time I played. Traps still bad but doesn’t bother me. I like course layout and pace of play was good

Tee boxes and greens were in really good shape. Some of the reviewed had me worried about the fairways, but they were fine, only a few had bare spots. Sand traps are what they are, but you get a free drop out of them, so nothing lost. Will definitely be playing again soon

Just depends what your looking for and expe tations. I want to play as often as I can and not pay a ton. So for the money I can achieve that. Don't care bunkers are not kept up.. I simply take ball out and chip from grassy area. I think it's priced very fair for what I get. Not a better value for the money I feel in this area.
