About
Callahan Golf Links in Waleska possesses a rich history of more than 150 years of farming and family ownership. Before being converted into a golf course, the site functioned as a farm from the Civil War until World War II. When creating the course, the natural beauty of the landscape was carefully preserved. As its name would suggest, the layout is a true links design with carefully placed pot bunkers and thick cuts of rough. Water is barely present but there are plenty of other challenges throughout that will quickly make you forget that fact. It is gentle enough for beginners but the back tees will challenge more experienced players. Golfers can also work on their short game on the chipping and putting greens or warm up on the driving range. The affordable rates make Callahan Golf Links an excellent value.

Great course
Well kept! Course is already in great shape. Small club house but they have a grill/bar. Amazing range with good amount of grass

Played this course many times. Course in good shape. Will reform again. Sofie, the cart girl was awesome.
Great course
This course is a great combination of links golf, and a woodlands style course. Conditions were great layout is very challenging and you will use every club in your bag. Great risk reward course that will bite you if you’re not paying attention.
Cart path only
2 out of the past 3 weeks has been cart path only. For a senior this it quite a challenge. If we have known we would not have played.
Excellent round for the value and pace of play.
Greens were recently aerated but majority of greens were in good shape with exception of a patch or two. Challenging enough for average golfer and more difficulty available through other Ts. Glad I found this one . I would recommend it.
Fun course
I really like the layout. It gets alot of play so the tee boxes are pretty bare.
Super Busy + good Weather X Cart Path Only = ugh!
Super slow play here on weekends. Cart path only due to trying to get the grass growing. Several tee boxes had only a couple of sprigs of grass.
We ended up skipping two holes to get ahead of a foursome that was probably on pace to play 18 in 8 hours.
The course layout is good. The staff was great and tried to keep play moving.
Overall, I think I'll play during the week.
Great experience
Great course. Awesome value for the money. Hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. Love the links style setup.
Golf cart path only on complete course
Unfortunately we did not find out until we checked in that all 18 holes were golf cart only. We both are over 65 and this was a little much.
Greens are bettter than I’ve seen in years, tee boxes need some major work, overall a good inexpensive course
