It is challenging and fun place to play. Very scenic with limited development in the area. A great place to lose your stress. Open views across multiple fairways on half the course. Creeks and valleys and ponds. Accuracy rewarded. If you are wild off the tee it won’t be your favorite place. Greens are moderate to fast. 3 and 16 are drivable par 4’s. 5 and 10 are very challenging unless you’re a long hitter. 3 and 15 are my favorite.

Great course! Greens looked great! There doing a great job. Lady in the pro shop was very nice.

Good course, it was really windy and cold the day we played, challenging to say the least. I can tell it is for most people with all the balls that we found off the fairways(yes, I was there a bit) As a beginner in folding, I found this course challenging, but would definitely play it again.

I absolutely love playing here. Awesome layout and chill staff. Plenty of interesting holes and amazing north GA views.

The golf greens were in horrible condition. Tons and tons of bare areas. I know it’s winter time but it was horrible. They shouldn’t be charging the amount they charge for the round. T boxes were an absolute terrible condition.

You will have to forgive me for having a little pun in the title but now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, I’d like to say what an excellent round of golf my buddy and I played at your course a few days ago. We both played terribly of course and the weather was worse but that is rarely the point. Keep up the good work guys and gals of Callahans. I appreciate it immensely

Beautiful course and great value. Bent grass greens are good with above average speed. A few bad spots on greens here and there but very playable. Fairways are tight now that Bermuda grass is dormant. Traps were in very good shape and fortunately I was only in one. They always seem to be making improvements on this course. Several newly sodded tees and areas around the course. I will play here more often.

Pace of play was painfully slow as there were groups of 5 including children playing and slowing up everyone. Greens were in poor condition. Fun to play on a weekday but will never come back on a weekend.

I love playing this course always in good shape great value for the money and challenging

The course is in very good shape. Greens roll well with few spotty areas. The secondary cut of rough should be a lot lower, as balls can't be found. The wind of 15-20 mph with gusts up to 30 was beyond challenging as some shots were pushed 20-25 yds offline. Not the course's fault, but there were more balls lost in the leaves and secondary rough. Always worth playing this challenging course, but check out the wind before you play.

Hadn’t played Callahan in many months, but the course and greens is in great shape (only thing lacking is some tee boxes). Good pace, good folks. Really enjoyed it!
