About
Callahan Golf Links in Waleska possesses a rich history of more than 150 years of farming and family ownership. Before being converted into a golf course, the site functioned as a farm from the Civil War until World War II. When creating the course, the natural beauty of the landscape was carefully preserved. As its name would suggest, the layout is a true links design with carefully placed pot bunkers and thick cuts of rough. Water is barely present but there are plenty of other challenges throughout that will quickly make you forget that fact. It is gentle enough for beginners but the back tees will challenge more experienced players. Golfers can also work on their short game on the chipping and putting greens or warm up on the driving range. The affordable rates make Callahan Golf Links an excellent value.

Always enjoy playing here. Good pace grass starting to green. Just a good no hassle course.
As always a great time
As always the course was in great shape for as much rain as we've had .And as always the staff makes you feel like your part of the family.

Course is getting greener by the day...recommend this course during the weekday, you might get behind a group or two but course is fun to play!

Old faithful
Callahan is a nice open course, greens are in good condition. Unfortunately this time we got stuck behind an extremely slow group and the Marshall did nothing but argue with us. 5.5 hour round.
Cheap, and There’s a Reason
This is a cheap course to play because it’s a cheap course. Greens are horrible. Don’t plan on your ball ever sticking on the green even if you hit a perfect high chip. Walk the greens and you see zero balls marks; that tells you something. Fairways are not much better. Grass is in poor condition on the fairway. The course is challenging and actually fun to play. But don’t expect an even decent municipal quality course. This is low end hack golf - and sometimes that’s OK.
Really liked course but needs some items
Excellent greens and very good fairways. But no yardage markers,, no ball washers, no trashc cans. Slow play meant skipping a hole but there was no warning to speed up.

Got my first HIO today on 8 from the blues, glad it was at my favorite course... memories made!
