About
Callahan Golf Links in Waleska possesses a rich history of more than 150 years of farming and family ownership. Before being converted into a golf course, the site functioned as a farm from the Civil War until World War II. When creating the course, the natural beauty of the landscape was carefully preserved. As its name would suggest, the layout is a true links design with carefully placed pot bunkers and thick cuts of rough. Water is barely present but there are plenty of other challenges throughout that will quickly make you forget that fact. It is gentle enough for beginners but the back tees will challenge more experienced players. Golfers can also work on their short game on the chipping and putting greens or warm up on the driving range. The affordable rates make Callahan Golf Links an excellent value.

Great value
Greens had been aireated but didn't effect play very much.
Had a lot of fun.
Wife and I played the course got paired with some really nice guys who play the track quite a bit. That was a ton of help because there is definitely course knowledge you need to have out there. Layout was awesome and absolutely beautiful. The greens were punched and I still loved the round. Would recommend to anyone willing to make the drive.

Amazing course, most T boxes was good. Fairways good to play, our group had had a good time
Cart path only
Because of heavy rain Saturday course was cart path only. The hilly nature of the place always makes it a challenge. That having been said course is in great shape and the new golf carts are very good. Didn't hurt that I had 3 pars down the stretch (a rarity for me)...

Exceeded expectation - I will return
First time playing this course. I didn't have high expectations based on price but it definitely exceeded expectations. The course is fairly open but with the elevation changes and slopes on almost all holes you need to hit shots in correct locations not just in fairway. The greens were aerated but not sanded so kind of bumpy but you could tell very well kept and fast greens when not aerated.
Excellent and continuing to improve.
The owners and staff at Callahan’s are consistently improving the grounds and amenities. They just fielded a brand new fleet of Yamaha carts and the course has been in great shape.

A few black tee boxes had next to know grass, the rest of the course was on good condition. First time playing there and I like the layout. I wool be returning to play again.
Good Course and challenging
Course in good shape. Love the greens will be beautiful when everything is in full bloom
