About
Callahan Golf Links in Waleska possesses a rich history of more than 150 years of farming and family ownership. Before being converted into a golf course, the site functioned as a farm from the Civil War until World War II. When creating the course, the natural beauty of the landscape was carefully preserved. As its name would suggest, the layout is a true links design with carefully placed pot bunkers and thick cuts of rough. Water is barely present but there are plenty of other challenges throughout that will quickly make you forget that fact. It is gentle enough for beginners but the back tees will challenge more experienced players. Golfers can also work on their short game on the chipping and putting greens or warm up on the driving range. The affordable rates make Callahan Golf Links an excellent value.

Good times
Course in good condition and the grounds keepers should be proud of all the work they have done around the course.What a great improvement.
Not a fan of the black and red flag sticks.wish they would use red white and blue to let you know the location of the hole or tell you pin placement at the clubhouse.
Greens were remarkable
Greens were remarkable...best I've seen on this course in many years. Pace of play was excellent, their were two in my party and we seldom had to wait!
A good value for the price.
I enjoyed playing there but was not able to finish our round due to the slow pace of play and darkness. took 5 hours to play 16 holes. It was on a Saturay afternoon and there were clearly lots of new golfers on the course. I will defineately play it again, but with an earlier tee time.
First timer
I recently moved to Canton and have been wanting to try Callahan Golf Links. Today was my first opportunity. My two sons and a friend made up my foursome and we had a great day. It’s a great layout with lots of beautiful views. The greens were in great condition. The on course marshal was very helpful.
Sweet surprise in Waleska
This was a nice little treat to find this course. I thought it offered challenging holes yet fair. A bit refreshing to play a country golf course. It’s a terrific value and I think you’ll thoroughly enjoy playing around of golf at Callaghan..
