About
Callahan Golf Links in Waleska possesses a rich history of more than 150 years of farming and family ownership. Before being converted into a golf course, the site functioned as a farm from the Civil War until World War II. When creating the course, the natural beauty of the landscape was carefully preserved. As its name would suggest, the layout is a true links design with carefully placed pot bunkers and thick cuts of rough. Water is barely present but there are plenty of other challenges throughout that will quickly make you forget that fact. It is gentle enough for beginners but the back tees will challenge more experienced players. Golfers can also work on their short game on the chipping and putting greens or warm up on the driving range. The affordable rates make Callahan Golf Links an excellent value.

Good time
Seems like my best half and I always enjoy ourselves when we play hear. Only had the foursome behind us hit into us one time all day. on hole #10. Other than that, good day !

The greens were aerated 3-4 weeks ago And now are in excellent shape.
Callahan golf review
Callahan golf is surprisingly enjoyable course to play for the money (good value). The fairways and greed were I mostly in excellent condition. Wish there could be something done with the first hole as in my opinion is a bad starting hole .The course is challenging enough for most amateur golfers . Overall a good value !

They take really good care of the course. Very slow golfers on the day we played but it was a beautiful day, good value
Ground crew could care less about golfers
Played here many times-horrible experince. No one mentioned they were punching greens and sanding.Did not mention nor offer a discount.Ground crew was holding up play 15 minutes to cut greens then would race to next green to sand it or punch it before golfers could tee off- should have been scheduled in mornings or non peak. Very slow pace,no Marshall or cart service. Total disregard for golfers playing. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!,,
