Echelon Golf Club

Echelon is a go to in the north Atlanta area. The layout is very challenging, yet fair. Beautiful environment for a nice round with your friends.

Just wait till spring to play. We play allot of the courses around the area and it’s just not maintained well in the winter plus the weather was not great. May give it a chance over the spring but coming back from palm desert to this was not the best I’ll say..:)

Course was in great condition, beautiful clubhouse and practice facilities.

Course is beautiful and all the staff members are super nice. The front 9 has quite a few interesting holes that require a variety of shots. The back 9 is a bit more challenging and for me less enjoyable. On the down side, there's almost never a ranger out to monitor pace of play and there can be some really slow 4-somes. Practice facility is better than most in the area.

Have played this course 2 previous times & the greens were disappointing compared to past rounds there...inconsistent, many were severely scarred with old & new ball marks. The course is dry. No rain in a week but it was cart path only! Why???? Last time playing there was 7 years ago. Playing the white tees these days & can't understand why Rees Jones has a par 5 playing 561 yards uphill from the Senior tees. Never thought the course was that enjoyable especially the back nine. When you throw a steady 15-20 mph wind gusting up to 30 its ridiculous!

Echelon is one of the premier courses in Georgia and the southeast US. It starts with the staff that greets you at the entrance, to the pro shop, to the service in the restaurant and bar and on the course. First class and customer service all the way. The course layout is a challenge for sure but the quality on the tees to fairways to greens are always in good shape. One of the best parts of the course is there are no “gimmick “ holes where a course sometimes puts in a hole or two that make no sense. All 18 holes are unique and has its own challenges. Echelon strives to keep its members in mind with events and is very accommodating for outside tournaments for organizations wanting to have a great event. Strongly recommend anyone who’ve not played to make a tee time this year!

Great course but I was sorry it was cart path only as this is one hilly course!

Great golf course super challenging and HARD! 2 challenging 9s completely different from each other. Front 9 I would say more traditional layout and holes. Back 9 extreme elevation on every hole much like a mountain course. I strongly recommend players play a tee box forward, If you think your going to bring your A game from your home course and shoot a good score your sadly mistaken!!!

One of the best courses in the area. Challenging layout and perfectly manicured fairways and greens. The upscale amenities are second to none here.

By far, my favorite Course in Georgia for so many reasons.

You have plenty of various Tees to play from, based on your Handicap, which is a great option to have on a Golf Course. The layout is incredible, as well as the Course conditions year round.

The Staff, Food, Course & comradery is second to none. It is a phenomenal course to play at any level & it is always my #1 Course option to play, when the opportunity presents itself.

I can't say enough positive comments, regarding Echelon GC, based on everything that I mentioned above. It is a :Must Play" Course at anytime of the year. Thanks Echelon GC for providing a fantastic Facility, which I look forward to playing many more times in the future.

I love playing Echelon! It has a great layout, friendly staff, and the course is always in excellent condition. I like to take my 13-year-old son up there to play because he loves the views from the tee boxes. There are several tee boxes that are elevated about 150 feet above the fairway, and there is a 450-yard par 5 that is straight uphill, which is pretty cool! Worth the drive from Atlanta.

Let me start off by saying we had gotten quite a bit of rain over the 2-3 days leading up to the round. That said, I had fun. There was standing water in areas of the fairways which was no surprise. The course was in great shape considering the weather and time of year. The staff was attentive and helpful. Pricing at the restaurant/bar was in line with any other course.
