Heron Bay Golf & Country Club

The greens are looking better. The fairways are still dormant and wet. It was cart path only today, so I got a lot of steps in.

I really like the course overall. It is in top-shape and plays like being on the PGA tour.

Was down south of Atlanta and grabbed a tee time in the afternoon. The clubhouse was nice and the staff was friendly. Tee boxes needed some work and 1/3 of the greens had spots that needed fixing. Bunkers had a very thin layer of sand. There were some holes that had great scenic views near the lake and you could tell that this was once a very nice course that could command a high green fee. I would play it again if I was down on the area.

It’s not a bad place to play overall but I think it’s over priced.

Greens were fast and I like that. The layout was good with some challenging shots. I definitely want to visit the course in season when I'm back in town.

I don’t ever remember having a bad experience at Heron Bay.. The overall course is still brown and in winter mode. But the greens roll nice. The lady at the front desk checking me in was very nice and made me feel welcomed.

I've always liked this course but was a really dissatisfied with the fairways & greens. It really was bad based on my previous experience. Fairways had weeds everywhere and the greens appeared not to be managed well. Weeds, big holes, bad cuts and more made these greens disappointing to see. I will play this great and beautiful course again.

The staff were very friendly and the course a good challenge. Some very interesting holes and lovely views of the water (where some of my balls are…) Bunker sand could be a bit better and some of the tees a bit scrappy.

Course was in good shape. Greens had some rough patches.

Earlier in the year this course was looking great, however for the last few months the condition of the greens has been terrible ! Tees, fairways and bunkers are in good condition but definetly being let down by the greens !
