Nice setup at Heron Bay
The staff were very friendly and the course a good challenge. Some very interesting holes and lovely views of the water (where some of my balls are…) Bunker sand could be a bit better and some of the tees a bit scrappy.
Nice day on the course
Course was in good shape. Greens had some rough patches.
Greens are letting it down
Earlier in the year this course was looking great, however for the last few months the condition of the greens has been terrible ! Tees, fairways and bunkers are in good condition but definetly being let down by the greens !

Fairways were very good, greens were terrible need to be treated. Almost all of the greens.
Nice Course - Greens Need Work
The course has a nice layout. We played on a Sunday finished and just over 4 hours. The tease and the fairways are nice but the greens could use some improvement. Unfortunately the clubhouse is closed, for almost a year now.?? :(
Potential to be excellent !!
I would say the only thing letting this course down at the moment is the greens. The tee boxes, fairways and bunkers are all looking great but the greens have looked poor for a few months now, im not sure what happened as they looked pretty good earlier in the year, otherwise this is a nice looking course !
What happened?
I’ve played here plenty of times. Some times it’s in better shape than others. This time was way below average. The tees and most fairways were ok. The greens were horrible. Many burnt out spots. Looks like nobody even attempts to repair ball marks. Sad.
Greens & Green Fees
we paid $80 to play an entire course that the greens were destroyed! 1-18 greens were molded and damp! Unbelievable that they would still charge that amount with no heads up or offer a discount! Never again and wouldn't recommend this course to anyone. I guess they're staying afloat by hosting tournaments... SAD!
Greens were rough.
Greens were in pretty rough shape. Fairways had a lot of mowing debris.
Terrible accommodations
To be a $75 course on the hottest day of summer to have zero water on the course and no beverage cart is a joke. A cooler in the club house at the turn with no ice on the drinks is a joke. Fairways and tees are pure but greens have never had a ball mark repaired on them.
Nice course with great views
The course overall is well kept, fairways and tees are in great condition but there seems to be an issue with alot of the greens right now, about 50% if them are in poor condition. I have played here before and the greens were great so im not sure what has happened
