Manatee Golf Course

Played the last couple of years, getting in better shape all the time. Well worth the money.

This course really needs an on course marshall to push the pace of play.

Our first 18 holes at Manatee. The greens and fairways were excellent with one or two exceptions. The layout was very good for intermediate and senior players with manageable hazards and traps and usually large & oversized greens. People were excellent and friendly going out of the way for new players to the course. Will be back.

Good value. Priced appropriately! You still have to hit golf shots & play well. Depending on the tee box you choose it will challenge you. No starter to pair up singles or twosome’s etc. players need to let faster players play through. A bit of etiquette goes a long way. I like that you can play here during peak rates & not break the bank! Under $50!! Awesome! No course should cost $100 to play in my opinion. Thanks for giving average folks a place to play. Keep up the good work.

First impression - Probably the nicest carts I have encountered in some time at a course at this level. The workers in the pro shop and starter seemed kind of grumpy for some reason.

The course - Very traditional back and forth course for the most part. A couple doglegs. The areas around the water seemed a bit low. I was stalled a few times due to heavy rains that blew in and then paused and came back. Finally rained out after 9 holes. I was given a raincheck card where I have to call the manager to discuss raincheck rather than just a certificate to come again. That is kind of lame. So now I have to go to the work of calling and setting that up myself.

Had such a great time out on the course, good conditions & open but challenging layout. Hope to be back soon
