Slow, Slow, and Slower
The course was all stacked up with foursomes, had to wait on just about every tee. Our round took almost 5 hours. At 7 minutes dwell for tee times, this is what you get. The fairways and green conditions were pretty good for a public course, greens were soft and held lofted shots well but we found the green speeds were quite variable, many on the back 9 were slow & sticky.

Happy that the golf course is in good condition but need someone to move groups along and spread out the tee times
Pace was awful
We played at 1:00ish midweek. After 4 1/2 hours, we left the course - with 4 holes yet to play! Ranger was present and concerned, but never got things moving as should be. Overseeded fairways were fine and greens putted and held shots well enough. Wish their players would repair a few more ballmarks! Course had a nice variety of holes and the good riding carts. But attitudes were good fortunately we were paired with a very nice couple.
Manatee
The coarse was in great shape. I play here on a regular basis. Great bang for the buck.
First time playing the course
It was a windy (NW 15-20 MPH), cool day (62) causing the weather conditions to add more of a challenge to the course. I played the white tees which seemed fair. The greens were a little slow but in very good condition and the fairways, for this time of year, were in good condition. We were held up all day by a young foursome who did not seem to understand the game of golf or etiquette. It was a good day regardless of the foursome in front of us.
Nice to get out
I am on a recovery path from surgery and this course fits right. Very straight forward golf course with a Parkland setting.
Greens were fine fairways mixed as is normal in Florida with geography that varies even a singular course.
Just a middle of the road not too bad golf course.
good pace
The course is in good shape for winter golf.
The staff was friendly. Pace of play was great. Finished well under 4 hours.
Since it was windy I believe there were several cancellations as there were several twosomes in front of us.
My favorite course in Florida.
Three miles from my home. Some water not a lot compared to other courses here.
