Manatee Golf Course

We play this course often in the late spring and fall, so I know that the pace of play can be quite fast. We often play 18 in under three hours! Granted it is now high season and the course is full, but there was no ranger/ambassador on the course yesterday, and the pace was awful. Almost three hours for the first nine! I tolerated it because there was cart path only restriction. No cart path restriction on the back nine, but it took forty minutes to play the 10th and 11th holes! We left after 12, because there were four groups on 13, returning to the clubhouse, we noted that the final two holes were empty! Greens fees have increased a lot this year. Use some of the profits to staff the course properly!

Great muni in nice shape. Played on a day that had bunch of rain in morning so it was wet in spots. Not a big crowd at the course because it can get very busy. Not an overly difficult course but nice test from back tee. Small greens that are full and roll true. I play manatee every time in Sarasota area

The course was a nice layout,in very good condition, a lot of college or high school boys that seem to never play,forgetting clubs and socializing instead of playing ready golf,management should have someone driving course,couldn't finish round

Fog delay in the morning so one hour delay at 2 in the afternoon. Very slow golfers and no Marshall to speed them up.

First off, the staff is always great. The course has continued to improve. 7 minutes between tee times and an online special translated into a very long round. Fairways , although over watered and soggy at times, are nice. Off the fairway is a disaster, little grass and a lot off sand. Most of the greens were really nice and all played consistently. I hope they keep the maintenance up so we can again enjoy having the course all to ourselves this summer.

Noticed that the course had been overseeded with Rye in the off season. The fairways and tees were exceptional. Most courses around the fairways are thin. The course pace of play was very slow waiting on almost every shot around 5.15hrs. Greens were on the slow side but were very smooth and held shots

My tee time was at 3:10 and started on time there was so many people on the course and the pace was brutally slow......only get 12 holes in by 6:20.

One of the few courses that haven’t raise their rates through the roof.
