Poston Butte Golf Club

Great course. Nice course, well kept up, range balls included with round! People that play their are horrible golfers/players. No one fixes divots on greens , greens look like the moon from daily approach divots. Fairways/ tee boxes are the same. Fat divots that people can’t manage to fill with sand even on par 5s tee box?? When every club cart comes with sand . Nothing groundskeepers can do about that. Other than the selfish players that don’t deserve to play the course. It’s very nice course to play, SLOWEST CLUB CARTS IVE EVER DRIVEN though. Lucky if they even break 10min.

Love this course. Complimentary range balls. Pitching and putting greens are nice. Today the greens had been sanded so they were not holding very well and putting was hampered. Just getting ready for the over seed., I'm sure.

Awesome course and in great shape. Staff is super friendly. Well laid out course, and challenging.

Overall the course is in really good shape, the greens were definitely a little slow and grainy while the cups probably hadn’t been changed in 3-4 days. There was nothing that was so bad that I would keep me from playing again.

We golf at a lot of different courses, and this course is really a great value, at least in the off season. Worth the drive from Gold Canyon! We have some nice courses in Gold Canyon, but staff really could learn how to treat a customer. Poston Butte is great! So clean and well kept, nice staff. We enjoyed the clubhouse as well.

The course is very challenging and very beautiful, but it is always windy

Only problem, group in front was SLOW. Could have completed round 45 minutes earlier.

This could rank as one of the worst experiences we’ve had. We show up 25 minutes prior to the tee time and the Marshalls watch time was off and pushed us behind a tee time. This generally isn’t a big deal other than the fact not on golf now, in the pro shop, or any signage indicating that in fact there was a tournament. Tensions further amplified when the scummy group behind us mouthed off like the drunk clowns they were on the tee box. IT TOOK 1 HOUR TO PLAY 3 HOLES. Nightmare, left after 9. I wouldn’t go back to that classless “okay” course if it was free. What a joke.

First time here for us four ladies. Yes, it is quite a drive, but well worth the effort to get here. Course was in great shape with nice wide fairways. Good value for this layout. The only complaint we had was when we were done & turned in our carts. It was on the far end of the clubhouse and the parking lot was on the far other end. Not a big deal, but inconvenient after a round in the AZ summer heat.

Fairways fine, greens still in horrible shape for the past month

The fairways were decent but the greens were very bumpy due to being punched. The customer service was just awful. It was the worst experience I had. The rules they have there are beyond ridiculous. I drove 31 miles to play this course but only to get told off by the rude starter. Don't ever bring a rider, they won't let you ride on their greens, even when its scorching hot out and all the golf rep could say is drink water. So now I had to walk all the way to my golfball. It's a good thing I most my balls straight down but it's still ridiculous. If the accommodate me, I may be back. Starter guy needs to be fired!!
