About
Bartram Trail Golf Club in Evans is situated just minutes from Augusta National. Despite the fame of its neighbor, Bartram Trail stands out for being Columbia County's only public golf course. It has a location next to Patriot's Park that provides forests of mature hardwoods and pine trees that were fully utilized in the design. The scenic and well preserved landscape of the golf course includes rolling hills, natural wetlands, and the meandering Euchee Creek. The dedication to preserving the beauty of the terrain earned the course certification as an Audubon International Wildlife Sanctuary. Although the hills, trees, and wetlands present some formidable challenges, Bartram Trail Golf Club was designed with playability in mind as well. There are some tricky holes but it's not overly punishing for the high handicapper.

Used to be a really fun place to spend time. It’s become overpriced for the conditions. Unhappy staff.
Great Course
Loving everything about playing here.
Attempting to get every single dollar, even while greens are recovering.
Bartram used to be a great public course for conditions and value. It’s turned into a fantasyland of overpriced experiences. Service was on the slow side, food was pretty good, however food and drinks are about as expensive as can be. Range balls are nice, but also quite expensive for a small bucket with a few balls. Especially considering green conditions.

I highly recommend this course. The price is excellent, and the staff is friendly.
Great round
Green seemed to have been punched 2-3 weeks ago. Should be just fine in an another 2 weeks. Fun layout, will be back.
Ok course
Greens were aerated and sanded. And when I say sanded you couldn't see a blade of grass which made putting impossible. Will visit again to see how the greens actually are. But overall not bad for the price.

Pace of play a little slow. Too much time finding balls and should be ready golf

This course sucks!
This used to be a pretty good place to play, now it sucks! I've played my last round there! Conditions are always atrocious! It's always "cart path" only. I'm a handicap senior and walk in the mud all day. And, the majority of the course is mud. People are no longer friendly in the pro shop. The people in the bar only care about their cell phones and friends and not the customers. I could go on but this place just SUCKS!

EXCEPT RANGE BALLS
The worst range balls I have ever ever seen anywhere. Embarrassing. $12 for a small of dime each flea market golf balls with no dimples cracks paint. A course as nice as this should be embarrassed. We were guests. But if I was a member I can not imagine how embarrassed you should be of this mismatched hodgepodge collection of range balls worse any hit away golf balls I have ever had the bad luck of encountering much less PAYING $12 FOR
A handful of my balls were not even in good enough shape to hit away. I can’t imagine picking those balls up and then charging someone again for. Course is great. Greens are absolutely perfect. Staff great. Bar and grille excellent.
