Bartram Trail Golf Club
About
Bartram Trail Golf Club in Evans is situated just minutes from Augusta National. Despite the fame of its neighbor, Bartram Trail stands out for being Columbia County's only public golf course. It has a location next to Patriot's Park that provides forests of mature hardwoods and pine trees that were fully utilized in the design. The scenic and well preserved landscape of the golf course includes rolling hills, natural wetlands, and the meandering Euchee Creek. The dedication to preserving the beauty of the terrain earned the course certification as an Audubon International Wildlife Sanctuary. Although the hills, trees, and wetlands present some formidable challenges, Bartram Trail Golf Club was designed with playability in mind as well. There are some tricky holes but it's not overly punishing for the high handicapper.

Excellent course...pace a bit slow.
Great layout for any handicap depending on tee used. Well conditioned..greens fast and true.
Slow
The Pro made a fivesome out of our two some reservation.
Although the guys that played with us were friendly, five guys is to many to stay focused and really play good golf.
undulating greens, sloping fairways, great shape
With five par 5's and five par 3's I love it. The greens were in great shape and well maintained. The fairways were cut perfectly and the bunkers were well kept. The maintenance staff should be commended for the great job keeping up the course.
Great greens
Overall a great course with wonderful greens. A real risk and reward course with 4 reachable par 5s. Fairways, bunkers, and tee boxes are all very maintained. The pace was a little slow but it was a saturday and the waits on the tee box were usually just a few moments. The beverage cart was only seen once during the round. All on all a great course.
Great Course For The Price
The staff changed our Tee time to allow us to start earlier. Great staff in the clubhouse. A cart checked on us about 3 times during play to see if we needed anything. The Tee boxes don't look the best, but for the price, it's not a bother. The greens were in great shape and are fast. Great course for the price.
Very nice rolling terrain thru out the course.
Large greens that roll very good and nice open fairways. There are a couple of houses that I think are a little to close to the course but most are a safe distance away.
Great condition for this time of year
This couse was in great condition for the middle of March. The fairways are starting to get some color back, but the greens are beautiful and consistent. My only issue was that half of the driving range was under repair, but the other golfers were courteous and made as much room as possible (because after all this is the south). Overall very pleased and will definitely be playing there again on trips to Augusta
Great course for the price on golf now
Very good course and well maintained for the winter. Three par 3's and three par 5's on the front make scoring a lot easier.
Great layout
Very nice layout & friendly staff. Greens rolled true. A mix of short & long par 3s, I found the course challenging. I'm sure I will be back.
Great course
The course is a short course so for a beg or intermediate golfer it is a great course. The fairways and greens are great. The course is very hilly and in many cases you can not see the golfers ahead or any possible hazards. There are no course maps or layouts and the card's yardage always seems to be wrong. However they do a great job of marking the course and the sprinkler heads have the distance on them so you can easily tell how far. My friends and i enjoy this course and will continue to play here. The staff is friendly and the cart girl makes her rounds often to you're not left "thirsty"
.Enjoyed a relaxed afternoon.
Enjoyed the round. Relaxed and the greens held very well, rolled excellently and were fast. Teed off at 3:00 and was able to get 17 in before dark around 6:00.
Fast (Greens), Furious (Challenging), and FUN!!
This is one great and beautiful golf course. The greens were immaculate and tough, the fairways were beautiful and wide.
It was fun to play. What an awesome deal!
Relatively easy, but a few pretty tight holes.
I played the day after it rained. The bunkers do not drain. They might as well be considered water hazards. If your ball goes in a bunker after the rain, there is a good chance you will lose it in the water. I would only recommend this course if it hadn't rained in a few days. About 4 hrs to play if not too crowded.
Pretty course
For the middle of November, the course was in great shape. Greens rolled very true.
Best in Augusta (Besides National)
A must play in Augusta, I live in Aiken and will drive the 50 minutes it takes to play there, greens roll pure and the course is always in great shape
Nice for the money
Course needs some work. Especially to get ready for masters week. Greens were inconstant. This course has been very nice in years past.
