Beautiful Golfcourse and friendly Environment
The Welcome was very friendly. We were able to tee off excactly on Time! The condition of the course is exzellent. Very attractive fairways with lots of water. We do recommend this lovely Golf Club!
Greens where coming in good after hurricane and fast
Worth it
Course is good. We have played there prior. Play was a little slow, but first time I have experienced that
Making Great Improvements
Current management is making great progress on course conditions. Fairways and greens are in the best shape in years.
Now rebuilding the sand traps and the new ones are perfect.
Bring plenty of balls
The course is tight with a lot of water that isn’t visible from the tee box.. it takes a lot of preparation or prior rounds at the course. To know where not to hit your ball. The tee boxes were so-so. And so were the fairways.
Great Florida Golf!
We moved to Cape Coral July 1st. I have been playing a lot of courses in the SW Florida area. Cape Royal is a very good golf course for the value (Florida value). Playing from Blue or Black tees makes it more challenging. There is water on every hole. They are re-doing the sand traps on the entire 27 hole golf course. I highly recommend. Another bonus for the locals is that this club appears to be very social. We have been to others in the area that offer a great course and amenities. But all, golf. No social.
Nice day at thos coirse
Challanging course and very nice layout. First time playing this course coming from Quebec but loved it. It realy took me out of my confort zone for challenge and enjoyed it. Lot of water pound but challenging, loved it. Worth the $
Congratulations
After this course was hit by hurricane Ian, we did not expect the course to be in the shape it is. You must have worked long and hard. We were very pleased.
Greens not in the greatest shape but considering hurricane Ian they are getting better day by day
Simply Unbelievable
I went out at 2:00 as a single and hooked up with another single. Played front nine in 2:15. Not bad….
Well, the back nine on “Queen” was overloaded at the turn. We had a nice member twosome of a husband and wife who cut in front of us on the tee and when approached, he said “tough luck” OK….
Got to the 14th hole and there was two foursomes (some weekly league play) and three twosomes on the same hole. The “league play” was involved in some crazy game that sent all the players all over the hole. Meanwhile, the sun is setting.
Called the pro shop and indicated that I paid $40.00 for 18 holes and will not make it before sundown.
They send cart guy out who said “nothing I can do about it.”
This facility is poorly operated and is in very marginal condition. Save your money and play somewhere else.
