Palmetto-Pine Country Club

Had a 12:16 tee time. Checked in at 11:46, was not informed my tee time had been moved back by 20 minutes to accomodate a group of 12. Would have liked notice so that I did not wait so long to tee off and may have selected a later tee time at reduced price. I understand wanting to accommodate a large group and getting 12 greens fees, just inform us in advance. The group directly in front of the group I played in was out of position for the entire round. We saw the ranger 3 times but it didn't appear that he ever addressed the group in front of us on pace of place, although he seemed to find many golf balls for himself. I played PP in the afternoon because I have always been able to play in four hours, today was 4:30! The other 3 players in my group, who I just met, were also not pleased for the same reasons. I truly hope this is a one time occurence, as I enjoy the course. First time rating this course less than a 5.

For the cost, it was high, the pace of play 4.25 hours, the condition was good, the pin placement, well, someone made the superintendent angry that morning because some were near impossible.

Course was ok, weather cold.

Everything was closed, no food , not even a coffee.

Overall course in good condition. Tee to green the course played as you would expect. However the greens where firm and fast. Which was OK. They had a lot of undulation, causing more 3 puts than normal.

Course is in great shape, staff is friendly. I have played PP several times over the past few years and always enjoy the round. I'm not sure how often I'll play it in 2025, rates are up quite a bit, $149 standard rate. Can't walk, but that's the norm here in Florida. Last few years there were often HOT DEALS in the $80 range, not so much this year. I'd pay $89 and play 3-4 times a week, but $149 will limit my rounds at PP. Greens are incredibly fast & hard.

Nice layout. Greens could hold better but were true with good speed. Really friendly staff.

The course has had an entire makeover tee to green.

Everything was perfect. The green fee of $129 is worth it. We came from Fort Wayne, Indiana. We will definitely play this course again.

This was a beautiful golf course…had breakfast and an adult beverage. Nice putting green, pitch area and the driving range didn’t have time to do… Courses in wonderful shape…. Nice and green.. Saw a Lemur out there. Played with a Fatjer and his son. Just a great day!

We are here on vacation since Nov. 20th and played about 6 times on different courses. This one was the best. We will definetely come back.
