Great Renovation of the Front 9
The recent renovation of the front 9 has made a very good track even better.
With the back 9 being done a couple of years ago, Palmetto is a very good course and a challenge for golfers of any skill level.
The new owner continues to invest and make improvements that are evident to any that have played the course in the past.
If you have not been there in a while, you should re-visit.
My only concern is pricing, as fees continue to increase, and I'm not sure that increases reflect the value compared to the options available.
18 holes of fun
I was really glad to see that all 18 holes were open, since the last time I was here they had hurricane damage that needed repairing. Course is an excellent shape ,very plush. The superintendent and his crew deserve applause. I would definitely be back.
Just need some more time
They’ve just opened the front 9 after renovation and it needs another month or so to be perfect. But it is great value and a really fun and playable course where you see every shot. Strongly recommend to come here and play
Excellent
Course recently refurbished. Fantastic condition, the bunker in the green was a novelty. Happily play here again. New carts. A1
Decent course but staff is kinda snooty.
Typically overpriced so I only go when I get a deal.
Great Course
This was a great experience golfing for my wife and I. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the course was beautiful. We definitely plan on making this our go-to local course!
Back nine only.
Only the back nine holes anre. open. Front is under reconstruction. No one told me that and it was not noted on the web site
Slow play, rough course conditions
Course was in rough shape, only 9 holes open so figured it would play quick, it did not. Driving range is extra and already charging $45 for 9 holes is excessive.
Enjoyable course with a nice outdoor bar
Golfed with three friends. It's still off season here, so course was wide open, fast play. The front 9 is still getting redone, so they only have the back 9 open for play. It's a pretty challenging course with a real long par 5 and some tough greens fronted with deep bunkers.
Enjoyed lunch and a few beers at the outdoor bar. Friendly staff there.
