Coral Oaks Golf Course

Can't say enough about the people who run this place 1st class all the way.

I have played at this course for 14 years. It used to have very good greens and conditions. The greens are still OK for the most part but some of the greens like #18 have large bare spots covered with sands. About 1/3 of the tee boxes are in poor condition or one has to use a temporary tee area. The fairways are only in fair condition with some very dry areas which is hard to understand given the cooler wet winter here. All in all, it was sad seeing a course that I really like, fall into disrepair.

This Track is definitely not in its best shape. Not sure what is going on here with the new Groundskeeper/Ownership, but the current condition of the Course justifies $45 a Round not $85.

Love this course! Always on time with scheduled tee time. Not a wait like other local courses. All carts have GPS. Pace of play has been good every time I’ve played there. Highly recommend.

FYI: According to pro shop, they no longer take reservations on GolfNow or honor their rates.

Apparently the city has decided to no longer support this course's maintenance needs. Been playing there over twenty years, and have never seen it so bad, or so expensive. Haven't been there in a while, and it will be a while before I go back. Round took almost 5 hours, never saw a ranger. No drinking water was available on the course, only at the clubhouse. To call it a goat path would be an insult to the goats. If you are going to charge top seasonal rates, then you better maintain the property accordingly. On the plus side, most of the employees were very cordial, and doing everything they could to be helpful. On top of everything else, they jacked up the prices for March, when they were already listed through April at a lower rate. This used to be a really nice place to play, buy unfortunately, you should spend your top $$$ elsewhere.

Absolut ridiculous…

Every day I go on golf now to try and find a deal only to be hit with the same old coral oaks "hot deal".

This deal at this course does not exist. My gf and I drove out there multiple times only to be hit with "we don't take golf now reservations" and then hit with a full price for a round.

It's a haul to get to the course and it's got to be the worst course in the cape coral area. Tons of weeds, crappy greens and golf cart path is made from this weird sand that will dirty up all your clothes and shoes.

Please remove yourself from golfnow as you do not accept any reservations from the app and cape coral golfers do not need to sully themselves with seeing your fake spam deals everyday.

Always liked the layout at CO. Greens and fairways were good, Tee boxes were a bit rough. They fixed up the cart paths a couple years ago. If the city would just get a full greens keeping staff on the payroll this course could be great. The pro shop and bag guys staff were excellent. I’ve read that this is a moneymaker for the city. Cape Coral takes $800,000 off the top. If they put more into the actual course maintenance they would certainly get a lot more play here.

Even it the greens fees went up a few bucks they are still a bit lower than other courses in the area. This is a city course so it belongs to the tax payers of the city of which I am one. Like any business, if they made it better they would get more play which equals more revenue. I am going to make a point of contacting the city to see when the meeting is being held to discuss this course. I want to add my opinion to the mix and encourage other golfers who are interested in making this place better to do the same.

All the ball washers are dry. There was no chance to clean the balls on the round.

The staff is worse the the course conditions which are also below par.

Pretty straightforward layout with plenty of chances to rinse a ball. Typical Florida tight-lies fairways and sparse rough. Greens in good shape; tee boxes not so much. Bunkers need tending and more sand. Staff very friendly and helpful. Decent value for the money.
