Nice course
A really friendly place to go to and play golf. You always feel welcome and it’s so easy to get friends. P
Very disappointing this season
I will start with PROS: course is within Cape Coral city limits; offer various tee box levels (including seniors, women, & beginner). Now for CONS: Both the owners (CITY OF CAPE CORAL) and the management team (apparently TROON) should be ashamed of the prices charged that keep increasing (numerous times within this current season) due to the deteriorated course conditions. Numerous tee boxes are worn out (a few without grass); many fairways have lower than "fair" conditions; many greens are lacking "green" and are pock-marked; some traps are lacking substantial sand; and the entire back 9 is so sub-par that it should be offered for free! Although permanent structures have been built for quite some time now, the washroom facilities are locked/incomplete and not made available to the public (we have been golfing since November 2025). Instead there are a few porta-potties which on most occasions are full or almost; toilet paper is provided but no hand-sanitizer! In order to get better golfing conditions, we are now registering tee times with courses in Ft Myers instead for a more enjoyable play. For extra info, my husband is an avid and skilled golfer and has been playing for 40 years. I am a fairly inexperience golfer with only 3 years experience. We play together weekly.
This course was in bad shape.
A few greens were in bad shape, the coarse did not reflect the price of green fees.
Save your money
This course is so overrated and I can’t believe that they’re charging as much as they do I know it’s in season but we paid $49 and I still think it was a rip off on a hot deal! The greens had some type of coating. They are in rough shape terrible tea boxes are all ripped up and it was dried out besides.
Course is torn up
I found the condition of the course to be poor. The person in the pro shop was very curt. For the price paid I would not say it was worth the money. The driving range was off mats and there was no place to practice putting prior to teeing off.
Awful
Course should have disclosure that conditions are terrible.
Value for money!
This is a very nice place to golf and the staff is wonderful! Love it. But the best of everything is that they don’t push up the prices so much under the high season!
Dump absolute dump
Course is awful. Ownership should be ashamed.
Costs 10x more than it should
Too expensive
Nice coarse but I don’t think it’s worth $117.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating
Best value in today’s market.
$85 is a good deal today, although it used to be $55 not that long ago. Layout is good with no junky holes. It usually plays slower but we finished under 4 hours. Some rough spots on a few greens but overall in good shape. Hot dogs were good at the turn.
Good course!
Average to better condition. The greens were in excellent shape and were fast! You won't be disappointed. I did get a Hot Deal with GolfNow
Troon needs help
Coral Lakes is in the worst condition I have ever seen it and I have been playing there since 2011. When the City managed it it was much better. A few years back they stopped giving a discounted rate to home owner/taxpayers.
