Well kept
We’re visiting the Cape Coral area and have hit three courses in a week. This is by far the best maintained course that we found. The others were nice layouts, but have been overcome by some type of crabgrass. Cape Royal’s fairways are in excellent condition and their greens are close to immaculate. Bag drop assistants, starter and on course staff are all personable and genuinely want you to enjoy your round. We’ve played it twice and will play again before heading home.
Nice Golf Course
This club has three 9 hole courses so they can have one course closed for maintenance and still offer 18 holes.
The King course is closed currently. The Prince course
just re-opened and is in excellent condition.
After 10 years
10 years ago, I played, i told friends, Never again.....
Today it was very good
Staff very friendly

Fairways are a bit tight, but when the rain starts they should come back from dormancy pretty well.
Friendly staff.....
...but the course could be in (much) better condition!!!

The course is coming along really well with the management system. I like what they are doing.
Great course, Ride be Golf-Boards
Great and challanging course with different greens, really interesting. We ride by boards which was an other challenge, but pretty nice.
Staff was very frindly and helpful, pace was fast with 2,5h for 18 holes, hope to come back soon.

I thought the course was excellent, and the greens were awesome, and the fairways are coming back very nicely!
Course not worth to play
Tee boxes, faiways and Greens need maintenance. Not worth the money. these days.
Organising to game was not good
There are 3 places with 9 holes.. why you have to wait until 2x4 players are in front of one?
Great layout, poor course maintainable
This is a beautifully laid out course. The fairways and tee boxes showed that there is not sufficient maintainance being done.
Golf Boards?
We only booked a tee time at this course as it was the only one in the area that had the golf boards, which we wanted to try. When we got there, we were told they didn't have any or that none were available. When booking, we were told that all we would have to do is watch the safety video and we would be able to use them when we arrived. We weren't able to, which was the entire reason we decided to play there, but we were there, so we decided to play.
Pace of play was atrocious to start. We teed off in the afternoon and the first 9 took us over 2.5 hours. After the turn, it sped up, as it was late in the afternoon. The course was in okay condition, but nothing spectacular. The course layout is good, we played the Prince and King 9's and enjoyed the course. The staff was friendly and we made the most of not being able to try the golf boards and the slow front 9. I would recommend this to a friend, but with the caveat that you get what you pay for.
A long way to travel for a round of folf
On the whole, a round of golf has a lot of components to it. One, is the distance to get there. Cape Coral is a long way to go from most places in Southwest Fla., including over a toll bridge to get onto the Island. The course was in OK shape, with the exception of a number of greens which were looking very sad and lost. It’s a very busy place with three 9 hole courses all very full, and on that day, the putting area was blocked off from use for some reason. If you are staying on Cape Coral, it’s worth playing. But, don’t travel over an hour like I did, as there are other courses around which give you as food a value for the money. The
Great shape
Nice course, nice layout. Water on 17 holes. If you get a chance I would recommend playing this course.
