Casselberry Golf Club
About
Opened in 1947, the course at Casselberry Golf Club is one of the oldest golf courses in Florida. Since opening, the course has garnered a favorable reputation among locals and visitors alike. Casselberry Golf Club's fairways are lined with trees and water comes into play on twelve holes. Although the golf course features several challenges, its modest length makes it more accessible for beginners but players of all skill levels will enjoy the course. In addition to the course, Casselberry Golf Club boasts one of the area's largest practice facilities, which includes a driving range, multiple putting greens, a practice bunker, and a chipping area.

weird layout ,
No bag drop area. No one came out to tell you where to go or what to do. cart had to drive down residential sidewalks, cross over a busy 3 way intersection, drive between 2 rundown houses! Lots of water and marshes to go over, esp on front nine. Gave beautiful booklet about course at start that allowed you to record notes for future review but course certainly not up to the booklet. it was very reasonable to play but “you get what you pay for”
Challenging
Course fairways are narrow which makes you play well. Front nine water comes into play often. Course is in pretty good condition. Tee boxes were in excellent condition. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed the round.
Good course needs some loving
Course is nice needs sandtrap work, fairway and greens mowing. But looks just to be short staffed.
Over all front 9 pretty rough shape, back nine was a little better shape greens were fast and back a little Challengin
Not bad greens were fairly slow and fairways a little rough would I play it again probably not
Casselberry
The practice putting green roles pretty good/fast but seems like the greens had not been cut in a while as they were a lot slower than the practice green but course was in good shape overall, a bit shorter but front is about average that we are used to playing but back 9 is shorter but still had fun.
It’s an Old Soul
Played Casselberry Golf Club yesterday. The course is an old soul for sure. Kinda of a tight layout but makes you think and pick your shots wisely. The main issue I had is there are restrooms other than one set of port a Jon’s. The other is they have the SLOWEST gas powered golf carts that I’ve ever seen. Fairly new carts but way to slow for crossing the major roads you do when playing there. Sort of a safety hazard in my mind. Other than that it’s ok if you have no other choice.
Good course for intermediate players
We keep returning to this golf course when we visit Florida for our winter getaway. Good location and course layout
3mph Golf carts
Main issue: Carts are so slow that even if you just drive through the course it will take 4 hours. Not an exaggeration, the carts are limited to 3-5 mph. This is not a mistake and when asked they say it’s to prevent crashes.
Greens: Unbelievably slow
Fairways: Spray painted green
Layout: Very short, almost every par 4 is drivable
Driving Range: Real grass
Employees: Nice, aside from saying that carts need to be limited to 3mph to prevent crashes.
