About
Opened in 1947, the course at Casselberry Golf Club is one of the oldest golf courses in Florida. Since opening, the course has garnered a favorable reputation among locals and visitors alike. Casselberry Golf Club's fairways are lined with trees and water comes into play on twelve holes. Although the golf course features several challenges, its modest length makes it more accessible for beginners but players of all skill levels will enjoy the course. In addition to the course, Casselberry Golf Club boasts one of the area's largest practice facilities, which includes a driving range, multiple putting greens, a practice bunker, and a chipping area.

It’s an Old Soul
Played Casselberry Golf Club yesterday. The course is an old soul for sure. Kinda of a tight layout but makes you think and pick your shots wisely. The main issue I had is there are restrooms other than one set of port a Jon’s. The other is they have the SLOWEST gas powered golf carts that I’ve ever seen. Fairly new carts but way to slow for crossing the major roads you do when playing there. Sort of a safety hazard in my mind. Other than that it’s ok if you have no other choice.
Good course for intermediate players
We keep returning to this golf course when we visit Florida for our winter getaway. Good location and course layout
3mph Golf carts
Main issue: Carts are so slow that even if you just drive through the course it will take 4 hours. Not an exaggeration, the carts are limited to 3-5 mph. This is not a mistake and when asked they say it’s to prevent crashes.
Greens: Unbelievably slow
Fairways: Spray painted green
Layout: Very short, almost every par 4 is drivable
Driving Range: Real grass
Employees: Nice, aside from saying that carts need to be limited to 3mph to prevent crashes.
Stay away
Great place for a driving range, real grass. Do not play a round unless you enjoy golf carts that go a maximum of 3 mph. When asked about why the carts are limited, the answer is “people crash less” 3mph is not an exaggeration. These carts legitimately move slower than you can walk. The fairways are also spray painted and the greens are okay, just a little slow. Main issue is the cart speed, doesn’t matter how far you bomb your drive, the cart will make sure you stay on pace for 5 hours. Horrible.
Scary crossing busy roads with traffic.
Loved the course and staff was great. Just didn't like have to cross busy roads especially the one in an intersection with traffic coming from two different roads.
Good golf but cart was terrible
Cart would accelerate, but immediately slow down. Kind of frustrating.
Course needs some serious attention.
Played last Saturday for the second time in the past 4 months and things have gotten worse my opinion. Staff is nice enough and all but course needs some serious love. First tee was backed way up with 3 groups waiting to go out, waiting on every tee box, got hit into and at by a group of twenty somethings who proceeded to try to fight with myself, my wife and the twosome we got paired with after we yelled at them for doing so 3 holes in a row. Greens are like 70's shag carpet with mole mounds playing connect four on some of them. Tee boxes are riddled with massive divots and need complete overall. Really want to like this course but might be the last time I play there after this last round.
