Golfer Reviews
Course needs some serious attention.
Played last Saturday for the second time in the past 4 months and things have gotten worse my opinion. Staff is nice enough and all but course needs some serious love. First tee was backed way up with 3 groups waiting to go out, waiting on every tee box, got hit into and at by a group of twenty somethings who proceeded to try to fight with myself, my wife and the twosome we got paired with after we yelled at them for doing so 3 holes in a row. Greens are like 70's shag carpet with mole mounds playing connect four on some of them. Tee boxes are riddled with massive divots and need complete overall. Really want to like this course but might be the last time I play there after this last round.
Good times
Course in good shape overall. Tee box on #11 is torched. Greens in really nice shape.
Casselbury Golf
The course and equipment is in dire need of tlc. Not sure if that is usual, but it smells like a hog farm at every hole. The smell was unbearable
First Time back in 12 years
Golf carts were so slow, even if we tried to drive 18 holes with out stopping, it would take 4 hours. The greens grass was so long, that it was impossible to putting in any sort of normal manor. I used to enjoy this course back in the day, however I most likely won't be back to play again at this course for another 12-years.
You’d think it would be better for the price
Just a preface. The course is not bad. The course is however very short, does not have the nicest fairways or most well maintained bunkers, carts are very slow and has very slow greens. The grain on the greens actually look good but they were just overgrown, making them so slow.
I wouldn’t play this course again for anything less than 35$.
Gas carts are old and balky
“Fairways “ don’t have grass
Greens are like putting on my carpet
