Cove Cay Golf Club

The minute we got there, there was none to help us with our clubs. I ask the young attendant if they had an extra bag since my son and I only had one to save space while travelling. They had none to lend.

But that’s not ax big deal, what bother me the most is my son had to pay the adult fee!!!

Then we proceeded to go practice at the range and you have to pay for the golf balls by buckets.

I guess we got spoiled playing in HHI at Golden Bear where my son paid the child fee, the golf balls were free to go practice and the attendant help and washed our clubs all of this service at a cheaper price too, including his tip

We only play 9 holes and from the get go we had to wait. To the point we teamed up with another golfer to save time. Even then we were waiting a while (10-15) we never saw any marshals.

Unfortunately this is not a golf course I will be coming back to.

This course is a great value and the pace of play was great. the views of the Tampa Bay are excellent. The course is quite challenging.

It needs to be in a little better shape but over all was please with my experience.

The restaurant is pretty good too.

I came in from out of town and wanted to play a round with my son. We found this course on Golfnow and decided to take a chance. It's a short course (6,027 from the tips, par 70). We knew the tee boxes on holes 1-9 were being reconstructed, so no big deal. It rained heavily the night before and there was a lot of standing water on the course, but that's mother nature. I liked the layout. The greens and fairways were in great shape. It was a good value for the money paid to play. I will definitely consider this course if I return to this area.

I've been to this course at least a dozen times. Fairly priced. Greens are usually in good conditions as well as the fairways. Their new carts are in excellent condition. I'd definitely recommend this course if you can handle the heat.

Conditions usually better, but they were redoing the tee boxes on the front 9. Rest of the course was in good shape

I thoroughly enjoyed playing this course. It has some great challenges and a lovely layout. To say it’s beautiful and scenic with its waterfront views is an understatement.

Great course in great shape for a great price. I can’t wait to play here again.

Great greens good layout had temp tees on front side. Nice to have all shade that it does.

Overall a great place to play. Good views challenging course. Good greens. Not much more I can ask for the price.

This course is beautiful and in great shape. Staff was friendly and I loved the challenges that this course presented.

Have wanted to play this course for years and finally got the opportunity. It’s a beautiful course and it’s well-maintained. I loved the water and trap hazards which challenged me.

Will definitely play here again.
