Bundoran Golf Club, founded in 1894, is one of the oldest golf clubs in Ireland, a clifftoplinks on a headland overlooking Donegal Bay on the Wild Atlantic Way. Our golfer friendlycourse, situated in the town, with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and a backdropof the magnificent Dartry Mountains presents a challenge to all golfers.

Surrounding the course, which is a five minute walk from the town centre, you may seesuffers enjoying the rolling Atlantic waves, locals strolling on the famous cliff edge RogueyWalk or even marine visitors such as dolphins and seals.

Designed by Harry Vardon, our golf course is a testing 18 hole, par 70, two loops of nineending at the Clubhouse. His design philosophy was “to give pleasure to golfers of alldegrees”, so we are sure you will enjoy your golfing experience and the warm welcomeyou will receive in Bundoran Golf Club. Our Club is one of the joint hosts of the West CoastChallenge.

Facilities include a practice area, putting green, bar, restaurant and Pro Shop.

Sun-Kissed Bundoran

We played on a hot sunny evening, not normal conditions for Bundoran I suspect.

The Pro was friendly and helpful. The course was in excellent condition and offers a fair test of golf. Despite all the dry weather, the greens were in great shape, true and not too fast.

We more or less had the course to ourselves - the last round of the Open was taking place at the same time! - so there was no hold up in play.

The rough was deceptive - it looks short but once a ball finds its way in there, it's difficult to find!

Would certainly recommend and the views of the Donegal coastline and Tullan Strand make for a memorable round of golf.

Views

This course has some fantastic views from all directions. Highly recommended. Testing holes, the rough is purgatory, keep it on the fairways.

Great course and great golf experience

Great course with great history! Beautiful and challenging links course that hugs the rugged coastline at times. The course was in excellent condition. Only negative is that the ladies tee was quite long and a tough test for my mid handicapper wife. They could use a shorter green tee for juniors and some others. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Well worth the experience at a fair price. Definitely go play here!

Great value for USA golfers

Not as nice or challenging as some of the other links in the area but it’s a 1/3 of the price. So overall, great value

Sufficiently challenging to keep you coming back

Very friendly club.

Fabulous views across Donegal Bay and Ben Bulben.

Greens fast even in winter. Fairways stay firmly dry in bad weather although not strictly a links course.
