Winter golf
Course and greens in good condition.still a testing round with some picture holes.looking forward to playing it again.
Sun-Kissed Bundoran
We played on a hot sunny evening, not normal conditions for Bundoran I suspect.
The Pro was friendly and helpful. The course was in excellent condition and offers a fair test of golf. Despite all the dry weather, the greens were in great shape, true and not too fast.
We more or less had the course to ourselves - the last round of the Open was taking place at the same time! - so there was no hold up in play.
The rough was deceptive - it looks short but once a ball finds its way in there, it's difficult to find!
Would certainly recommend and the views of the Donegal coastline and Tullan Strand make for a memorable round of golf.
Views
This course has some fantastic views from all directions. Highly recommended. Testing holes, the rough is purgatory, keep it on the fairways.
Loved it
Awesome seaside links course with great history. Staff VERY friendly and helpful. What a beauty and a great challenge! Loved it.
Great course and great golf experience
Great course with great history! Beautiful and challenging links course that hugs the rugged coastline at times. The course was in excellent condition. Only negative is that the ladies tee was quite long and a tough test for my mid handicapper wife. They could use a shorter green tee for juniors and some others. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Well worth the experience at a fair price. Definitely go play here!
Great value for USA golfers
Not as nice or challenging as some of the other links in the area but it’s a 1/3 of the price. So overall, great value
Excellent value for money
Played the course in reply windy conditions and it was a real test. Some great par 3s when the wind blows
Sufficiently challenging to keep you coming back
Very friendly club.
Fabulous views across Donegal Bay and Ben Bulben.
Greens fast even in winter. Fairways stay firmly dry in bad weather although not strictly a links course.
Lovely course
Always enjoy playing Bundoran. Great course, and very scenic.
