Plantation on Crystal River - Lagoons Course

Very well kept course. Very friendly and excellent staff. Enjoyed the course and look forward to playing it again.

Much better courses to choose from in the area, this place has seen better days.

Having played here once previously and left with an ambivalent experience, I thought I’d give it another try. The second time through, my impression was that it’s a very typical, unexciting course...flat, no great scenery, average groundskeeping, a couple holes that have modestly interesting features. The signage leaves much to be desired since there are intersecting cart paths and a short nine-hole course laid out within part of the main course. There’s nothing “wrong” with the course, but there’s nothing terribly alluring about it either.

I have played this course each of the last 8 years for a long weekend and this was the worst experience I've ever had here. We had a big group and the staff knew when we were coming through and would be needing lunch, yet they did not have enough staff to take care of us.

The cart girl was never around. So bring something to drink or snack on. They also sent her home at 3 when we had 52 guys out playing. Bad management.

Here's the problem I have with the course manager. We finished a hole and he sent somebody out to talk to our group to pick up the pace of play. I would not have a problem with that, but we were waiting to hit at that point because I would have hit the group in front of me if I hit my driver. So if keeping up with the group in front of us is too slow I don't know what he want. 2nd, come out and tell us yourself you coward. Don't send someone else out to tell me something. Tell me yourself. Assess the situation better. Maybe actually see what's going on before you say or do something stupid.

weather was perfect, staff was very helpful and friendly, course was in good shape, no holdups , good pace and enjoyable day

We brought 2 guests who enjoyed the course , our friend purchased some clothing ,she was pleased,only issue was starter who had to make sure we knew he was in charge,and he would allow us to go?otherwise perfect day ,thankyou,pro shop was very good.I played like crap, maybe you could of helped me out!?

Overall course was in good shape. The greens needed improvement - many spots burnt out and dead on every green. Friendly staff and patrons around the course. On course beverage cart needs improvement. Saw the beverage cart/person once at rest facility on hole #5. Never to be seen again! Golf course is leaving a lot of money on the table due to the very limited service out on the course.

Course was extremely slow paced. Had wait on ever tee. Green were dry and course. Not a championship course!

Just a fair layout. Probably built in the 60s and no update done since then. Little imagination put into the tract.

Started with a wonderful lunch, a little time on the putting green while waiting for our tee time as we were early - awesome round

Friendly staff. Greens were uninspiring with damage or a grass fungus. Slow play, confusing on tee locations. Exextive course players playing on Chanpion course due to confusing layout. $50 wasted..

Recommend playing elsewhere.

This course is in pretty good shape, staff is awesome, facility is clean and food is also good. Great consistent experience every time we’ve been there the last few weeks.

Always enjoy playing the PLantation but unfortunately there were a lot of puddles on the fairways due to the rain during the night.
