Plantation on Crystal River - Lagoons Course

I thoroughly enjoyed The Plantation. Greens were smooth and in great shape. Putts rolled true. I have played this course before and believe it is presently in the best shape ever. We will certainly be going back for more of this course.

Couldn't complain about anything except some greens were a little roirough otherwise course really in good condition and quite comfortable to play.

I had a fantastic time playing golf yesterday at the Plantation of Crystal river.
The course was in great condition & the weather was perfect.
I will be back soon to play again this is becoming a favorite location for me.

Course well maintained. Avoid playing after a heavy rain, course does not drain well. Imperative to keep ball in fairway , Tough to find balls in the rough.
Friendly staff and excellent food at the bar. Overall can't complain for $12

Course was in good shape considering hate massive amounts of rain the area recieved during the week. Some greens and fairways left a little to be desired but for this time of year that is to be expected. Overall I would play there again, especially for the price.

Had a great time, a lot of wildlife to see while golfing. Would play again. Course was very good condition.

This course has gone downhill since he last time I played there 2 years ago. The biggest disappointment was that there was no mention when booking that the course had just been aerated. It was also the worst aeration job I have ever seen. The ball bounced on the greens like it was a ping pong ball. We played 3 holes and quit. When I mentioned the lack of notice about aeration to the pro shop all I got was a shrug of the shoulders. I checked again today 5 days after I booked and there I still no mention of aeration. I will never go back.

This course is normally nice but Greens and Fairways are being aerated. Not in the best shape right now.

They were pluging the greens did not now. So they had back nine closed. At best it's in fair shape greens need work mainly caused by winter. Price was more than fair at less than buck a hole. Looks like they are just doing the.best they can on very tight buget. Just locals playing not very crowded .

Had alot of fun but the green were very fast. I would go again

Good solid course. some holes were a little difficult
with water and/or tight tree lined fairways. This is not
a premier course,neither does it have any problems.

Was a wonderful day of golf. Great easy going set up in good condition.

Greens were not in good condition. Hole 1 was really bad but mostly improved after that. Must have had significant amount of rain as fairways were pretty moist, soggy. Found I had to pinch the ball just right or otherwise lost considerable distance, but figured it out after a while. It was a challenge from the black tees. You've got to keep it in the fairways as trees (or water hazards) really come into play!

length is not a major issue here. Water on several holes, not much of an issue, though it sneaks into a few fairways so beware. Fairways were decent, greens ok, and traps in better than area average condition. back 9 has two dog legs where shorter drives will be penalized, otherwise a breeze.
We got it heavily discounted, so it was great value. At the reg rate on GN of $36, for the area it is pricey.

Course was challenging and great value. Watch for a large alligator . Definitely a good time .

Course was pretty good for this time of year. Good value for the money.

We have enjoyed this course several times while we were in Florida. One of the best courses in the area. The fairways are in far better condition than most in the area and the greens are true and consistant. We always enjoy this course

Good value. Greens in good shape hold approach shots. Relatively open but trees at strategic locations if shoots pulled or sliced.

They keep all the turf (tees, fairways, greens) in good shape. It's low and flat and doesn't drain that well, so be careful when it rains. And the first several holes on the full-size course are interwoven with the 9 hole "Lagoons" course, so the routing is a bit odd and confusing. But overall, a pretty good course.
