Certainly worth playing
The course is recovering from the hurricane. Several trees were down and most clean up remaining is out of the playing area. The greens were a bit slow but pretty good.
Great time
After the hurricane they did a great job rebounding, course grass was in good shape, from tee box, fairways, greens. Most all downed trees and limbs taken away or stacked to be removed. Me and my wife had a great time.
After Irma
The course was in good shape for so soon after Irma passed through. There were some places that had excess water, but not so much that play was really affected. The greens were in decent shape and rolled well. Really nothing not to like except for some awful play on my part.
Plantation
Course in good condition for as hot as it has been
Some tee boxes a little sparse, but overall great round
Sticky greens
Although the course was in decent shape, the greens need help. It was like Velcro making the ball stick.
Fun course
Greens were nice, tee boxes decent, nice staff, trees need to be trimmed one for more grass to grow in fairway, two trimmed because they are over the fairway.
I had situations that I was in the fairway or just off the fairway but tree overhang blocked line to green.
Nice course
Fun to play. Have some challanging doglegs. Would play again.
Course Conditions
Course was in pretty rough shape compared to historical conditions. Some of the greens and tee boxes were pretty bad, especially considering we had a very warm winter.
Pleased
For a local Florida course this one was in very good condition. It was our second favorite. We will play it again.
still a fun layout
this is the third time we had played here, it was pretty much what I remembered. The greens are a big thing with us and they were as good as I remembered them with good speed. convenient and okay shape. Typical Florida pub links.
I only played the first hole. Absolutely the worse greens. This course needs to be completely shutdown and renovated
Plantation Golf
Course is very well maintained...friendly and helpful staff.
Day was windy and cold so play seemed faster
than normal. Course conditions were fair but
good value for the buck. Staff were extremely
courteous and helpful.
Had the first tee tee and breezed through the round. Course was in excellent condition. They are working on improving it. New cart paths and new flooring in club house,
Plantation on Crystal River
Got a great price on Golfnow, com Hot Deal so I thought I'd make the drive up to Crystal River. Arrived and the Pro Shop is nice and clean with a nice grill room right next to it. Staff seemed disinterested with their greeting which did not come across as friendly or sincere either. Get a different job if you don't want to work with the public. Replacing some of the concrete cart paths on a few holes but the course is well routed and the course overall was in nice shape. Couple of bare spots on a few greens but they putted true though not that fact. Played from the back tees and hit 3 metal off most of the holes and shot a 85. Will play again when temps get a bit warmer.
Rainy Morning
It was raining lightly when I arrived at the course at 7:45 for an 8:20 tee time. No one else was playing, so I went out without a warm up. Playing alone with no one in front of me I played in 2 hours. The course was in good shape except for some concrete cart paths in need of repair - repairs were being done on one hole. The greens were good, layout interesting. It's not a long course and is very playable for the average golfer. I recommend it and would play it again.
Decent course
Greens need some attention. Pace of play today slow, behind shot gun tourney.
