Palms at Marriott's Desert Springs Resort

The course is fine, the greens and fairways are nice, the starter and staff don't reallyy have time for anyone as they try to push people through so fast, but I guess that's business. The food at the turn was very good. There is a lot of noise from traffic and being right next to thoroughfares. The maintenance people mowing did not care that they were in your way at all. BUT the Par 3's were nice.. I play in the desert a lot, but won;'t be coming back here. for the cost, I expect at least courtesy from the staff.

Presious Course and Great Team (Shop, carts crew and Starter)

Had the opportunity to play with people I didn't knew and we had a Great Time

We actually played the Valley Course.It is a nice course. The deep traps were a challenge for us. Also, there had been some heavy winds and the course had not been cleaned up from the debris from the trees.

I first played here in 1986 when I had a convention at the Desert Springs Marriott. It was an eye opening golf course at that time. I went there few more times from the 80s to 90s. Since there were so many new golf courses built in P/S area, I did not play Desert Spring for 20 years. It was a surprise that this place was still the top course in P/S area, my friend and I enjoyed it very much. It was one of the best public golf courses in the desert. It was a long drive from LA, but the it as a great experience.

It was good except for they had not cleaned up the debris from the strong winds the previous Saturday.

This was my 4th visit, but the first time playing the Palm Coarse. The staff, as always was extremely attentive and friendly, and the Coarse is in top notch condition. Always a good experience here.

It was a first experience. I like the course layout and atmosphere, but the green was slow.
