Palms at Marriott's Desert Springs Resort

Greens were a little bumpy and tee boxes a bit long but rest of course in good condition.

Person checking in at the clubhouse ahead of us was charged $100 less for his round and the person behind the counter gave them a sleeve of balls. A little bit of ‘what am I missing’ when I paid full price. Guess I’m a fool for booking on GolfNow.

Good layout. Would like to see a forward set of tees added for shorter hitters off the tee.

Greens are still a bit bumpy - maybe transitioning for the winter???

Better value to be had unless you get a discount off the posted rates in my opinion or you just don’t want to walk away from the hotel.

Marriott, do you read these reviews? This course isn’t cheap but the conditions are. The greens are splotchy, bumpy and virtually unplayable. Why would anyone pay your price to play here if they weren’t a captive audience in the hotel? When will you fix this course up?

I have played this course quite a few times. Last December they said they had some problems with the greens but they are doing better. One year later and greens are awful but they charge premium prices. It's time for a serious change. They are furry and bumpy. PLEASE! I love this property. We can't play it anymore. Get a greens keeper or something asap!

No one at bag drop. Very poor set up of pro shop location and cart area and starter. Poor signage- charged way too much compared to other options near by

Nice resort course but pricy for the time.of year we played.

First time playing this course. It was in very good shape. Pace was a slow (4h45min). Layout is beautiful. Course is challenging but fair. Greens were very slow. Many tees were on uneven ground. Would play here again.

First time to play at this property (normally play courses in La Quinta). Good solid course, friendly staff and amenities are great! Overall the course was in good shape for September, although there were a couple of rough spots. Will definitely play here again.

I’m a 15 handicap, made a big mistake and played the blue tees. Yardage doesn’t reflect the difficulty of the elevated greens. An extra club or more required on approach shots. Several holes with hidden water from tee. Check the gps frequently! Score.card didn’t have a course layout. Needed signs for next tee box in a few areas. Play the white tee next time.

great time, paired up with three great individual players. Course in great shape

As the title says. Played a little later in the day and pace of play was aweful. Had 4 jokers in front of us who didn’t seem to care if they got their round in. Absolutely not the courses fault but be warned that being a resort course my bring out the riff raff.

Enjoyed the round…pace was pretty good, conditions were also pretty good…but greens were incredibly slow….too many other great tracks to play in Palm Springs to play this one again.
