Palms at Marriott's Desert Springs Resort

great time, paired up with three great individual players. Course in great shape

As the title says. Played a little later in the day and pace of play was aweful. Had 4 jokers in front of us who didn’t seem to care if they got their round in. Absolutely not the courses fault but be warned that being a resort course my bring out the riff raff.

Enjoyed the round…pace was pretty good, conditions were also pretty good…but greens were incredibly slow….too many other great tracks to play in Palm Springs to play this one again.

Showed up early to hit balls. Range is closed and the course wasn’t in the best condition, wish they had that noted when we booked.

It was a great course, wrong time to play it as they are getting ready to reseed it.

Not a great start.

No-one at Bag Drop. So I carried 2 golf bags (my wife and mine) up 2 flights of outside concrete stairs, then along a corridor to the Pro Shop. After paying, had to then lug them DOWN another 2 flights to get to the carts. Who designed this nonsense. When I commented to the cart guy, his response was "don't beef at me on minimum wage". He then said "There's a sign with a number to call". That's fine if you have a USA cellphone. But we are from the UK! As a long-time Marriott Elite meber this is the second time in California in 2 weeks I've experienced less than MArriott-standard responses.

Very disappointed. May not use this course again. Sort out your logistics.

Enjoyed playing this course. Considering the time of year in the desert the course was in good condition. The staff was kind and courteous. As a twosome we played in just over three hours. We’d recommend this course.

We travel to Palm Desert every 12 - 18 months and have played this course before. It is always in pristine condition and well managed. Our recent trip was no exception. However, this time we scheduled a bit early and the hot weather was not yet over. So in 107 degree heat our foursome decided to call it a day after we finished the front nine. If you schedule a visit in cooler weather though, I would highly recommend that you include the Marriott Desert Springs in your courses to play. We will return!
