Palms at Marriott's Desert Springs Resort

We got placed behind an elderly couple and had to wait 5 minutes for each shot. They were not willing to let myself and my wife to play through. There was 3 open holes ahead of them and no ranger out to get them speeded up! Took us 3 hrs to play the back nine.

I’ve been playing this course for over 30 years and this is the worst condition I’ve ever seen it. It’s shabby and unkept.

The Palms Course at Desert Springs is truly beautiful and exceptionally maintained. We found the course quite challenging for the average senior golfer but the setting was spectacular. The staff here is very friendly and the service is fabulous. We would highly recommend this course!

Too pricey in the morning. Don’t drop until afternoon.

Great time, great course. Always enjoy our time here. Don’t ageee with high prices to use driving range per person. Seems ridiculous when playing for 2 days with 5 people. $10/person is plenty. $30/person is a gouge!!

Both the palm and valley courses are fun layouts with great views, unfortunately, the last couple of years have seen a severe drop off in overall maintenance. Tee boxes are just beat up. Greens are shaggy, bumpy and inconsistent. Sand traps are either mud pits or have grass growing throughout, Fairways are probably the only saving grace. There are a lot of resort courses in the valley, you may want to give this one a little time to heal up.

I enjoyed myself, but the greens need to be in better shape to justify the cost.

The Golf course hospitality was very average.

The Golf course itself was in fair condition but many of the traps had grass growing in them. I do not find this acceptable for a Marriott property, especially as an owner

Enjoyable setting, challenging for intermediate but that's Pete Dye!

Dead spots on the course. Grass growing thru the bunkers. Should be in better shape, disappointing to say the least.
