Spruce Creek Country Club

The course is in great shape from tee to green. The greens were the best I’ve seen anywhere in the area. The course is challenging but fair. We’ll be back.

The course was in very good shape although the greens were pretty slow. Fairways were ok - my group allows for rolling the ball in the fairway so the few thin spots didn't bother us.

For some reason the 14th hole was closed - we drove through it and it looked fine. No explanation was really given - something about a gator but come on - every pond in Florida is liable to have a gator or two.

After our round we wanted to enjoy a beverage while we did our group scorekeeping, but were denied entry into the bar/restaurant because it was "members only".

When it's 90 degrees and you just finished a four hour round of golf (with a 20 minute rain delay on #8) you should be able to purchase a beer.

The course is under maintenance, but we didn't know that until we checked in. Two holes were closed. Two holes were not cart accessible. Biggest problem was the smell. It was awful. Kind of a pungent sulfur smell that almost made us throw up. Very hard to concentrate on playing. Not only on the course, but the water in the coolers smelled that way.

The course is in good shape. I wasn't particularly happy with the staff in the pro shop. I paid a service fee on GolfNow which was supposed to be deducted from the green fee. The pro shop attendant told me I need to take it up with GolfNow and that I should have booked my tee time direct. When I pointed out that the rate on their website was $24 higher ($59 vs $35), he said they would have corrected the rate. Excuse me, correct your website. There is no reason why I would agree to pay more. In addition, they even had one tee time listed on their site that was $104 ($69 higher than the $35 rate). Again, fix your website and don't blame customers for your issues.

Haven't played here in several years. The course was in bad shape the last time I was there (2021). Course is in good shape now... greens slow but true, fairways have grass. Tee boxes need a little love and the traps were unplayable (hard packed sand) but this is a long way back. The staff was excellent and accommodating. I've played here three times in the last two weeks and will be back.

Course is in pretty good shape with the exception of some of the tee boxes. The greens have healed nicely from being punched earlier in the summer. Wealways enjoy playing this course!

First time out here for several years. The course was in bad shape the last time I'd been out. Much improved... greens were very good, fairways have grass. Staff was nice and very helpful. My partners ditched after nine, I had the back nine to myself. The course has bounced back well. It is back in my rotation.

I only played 9 holes and the tee box were horrible on 1 through 7; 8 and 9 were ok. But he greens were good and fairways were playable although they need some seeding.. the food was good and beer was ice cold. Maggie does a very good job but needs some covering the bar and tables.

I have played here often throughout the years. Love the way it winds through the subdivision of Spruce Creek. The course is in very good shape. The greens had been recently punched. but we’re still putting well. this is one of my favorite courses in the area. I will be back!
