Spruce Creek Country Club

Very very fast. Certainly unusual for a public/Private course.

The one positive is the greens are in very good condition. Tees are nearly bare. Fairways I would rate 4 of 10. Rough and approaches nearly bare. Very slow play and there was no evidence of a Marshall to move groups along. This course has moved way down our list for our annual winter snow bird trips.

Have played here many times over the past few years. Always use Golf Now to reserve tee time. On this occasion the pro shop did not honor the price given me by Golf Now. Even after showing my reservation, was told “You can’t trust Golf Now, they are notorious for doing this.” The difference was only $6 but I had a party of 3 and had quoted them the the Golf Now price. Not too happy about the poor customer service I received.

Had a lot of fun and the greens were gorgeous today. Fairways are still coming back from the cold & dry spell we had but the course is well kept and a challenging layout! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Especially when golfnow did not send in my booking which was not their fault at all.

Course and staff were very nice. Only problem we had was the Golf No app confirmed with me that we had a reservation but it didn’t go through to the course pro shop and we had to wait an hour to get out golfing. Not happy with the wait but enjoyed the round a the course.

I arrived, was met by a guy on a cart, super friendly got me set up on a cart, told me I am matched up with a couple of guys, just check in with pro shop guy(I know his name) maybe off day, he was confused, attempting to figure out some mistake, I looked around shop for a bit, figured I am pre-paid how tough can it be . Anyway gives me this slip to make sure I hold onto to provide to starter . Wow no starter…few members head out, I ask them there time as looked like a good group….not the same time, then someone else joins them. So two minutes before my time I go back to shop to see if the guys I am playing with have checked in yet…..Ooooops you you were supposed to play with that group…..but the Tee is free you can go by yourself….Thats enjoyable . I get it every one makes mistakes. saving grace the guys in front asked if I wanted to join on 9 Tee after a 2 and a half front…..they were waiting as well. Other guy dropped out, they were good guys. In my mind this was avoidable.

All other staff I came in contact were top notch!!!!

Booked for 12:37 ! Got there and was told it was booked for 1:00. They changed the time. Course was way overbooked and catered to there members. Almost a five hour round. Went to there clubhouse for drinks and apps. After being seated we were told the restaurant was only open to members. Had to leave. Needless to say we were not very happy after a very long day.

A very playable course in nice condition. Greens were in excellent shape while tee boxes were a little chewed up. Small aircraft and their noise is present throughout but still a fun round of golf.
