North at Daytona Beach Golf & Country Club

The course charges $15 extra for both players should they want to social distance to avoid exposure to Covid. If 2 people ride together, no charge. One person shows up alone, no charge. Two people show up at the same tee time, not in the same car, and want separate carts, $30. That is unconscionable in this time of rapid increase in Covid cases. The worst I have experienced prior was $15 for both, ie $7.50 each. I will never play this course again and will never recommend anyone else play it.

It’s always fun playing Daytona Beach GC. They are in really fine shape and affordable.

The course is in excellent shape however 18 of the 36 holes were closed so that it can dry out.

Excellent upkeep of fairways and greens. Best greens of public courses in Daytona at the moment. Will be back soon

Daytona North, for the money is the best value in the Daytona Beach area.

The course is in great condition and it was a beautiful day to play golf. It was challenging at times and fortunately not a lot of people were playing today. I definitely recommend this course.

Course was in good shape. Nice open layout. Bunkers are well kept. I will definitely be back.

Course is in great shape for been a municipal course green are perfect and the fairways and the rough is cut just right. Bunkers are clean and well kept. If you are in the neighborhood is a great value

I haven’t played here for a year or so and was pleasantly surprised by the conditions at the north course. The greens are firm but very fast and smooth. The fairways, rough and bunkers are well maintained. The tee boxes were in fair condition. They have rerouted some of the holes on the back nine, so I was a little confused at first because my gps kept telling me I was on a different hole., but the distance was still correct. We liked the course so much that we played it twice this week. We will definitely be playing here more this summer.

I noticed that no one had reviewed this course in months on Golfadvisor so I thought I'd provide an update.

Course was in in very good condition. Greens were "fluffy" and slow, but in good condition.

Layout is good. Open fairways with enough sand and water to keep it interesting . Not an outright stunning course in the landscaping/views. Just a basic golf course with good conditions, good clubhouse restaurant, good prices, friendly people and not crowded.

This is a wonderful golf course, and in my opinion the best golf course to play in the area.

I have only played the North course, and find a very interesting layout and usually great pace of play, some of the holes remind me of golf courses I have played in Hawaii, very beautiful.

Everyone there seems extremely friendly, except the lady in the pro shop, who is quite rude, there's absolutely no reason for that.

I do recommend this golf course.

Visiting and unfamiliar with course...no clear direction to 17 or 18 so my partner and I fell slightly behind. Ranger came up to us on 18 as we were making approach shot to green to tell us that a 4some "was waiting" behind us...really? Disgruntled locals...no excuse for that warning IMO.

BTW...played in 3:40...

Course was ok...green fairly fast...course in pretty good shape altho wet from recent rains.

If I visit DB again...won't be coming back.
