North at Daytona Beach Golf & Country Club

Hadn't played this course in two years, but had noted in my golf log to come back. Glad I did. The conditions were pretty good even though all the courses need some rain. Greens could have been better, but were still playable. There is plenty of challege in this course - bunkers, water, dog legs. On the other hand, it is fair and fun. The sea breeze is a help and a hindrance.

the greens on the south course are in great shape fairways are good and i would recommend both north and south courses to novice like me or anyone

Needs more attention for a customer. Like staff's welcoming attitude., supplying water and ice, etc..

The course was not busy on weekday early in the summer. A very nice layout with lots of water and sand. Greens are almost fully recovered from top dressing this spring. Fairways are in good shape.

The condition of the course was surprisiling worse since I last player the course in December .

Typical tree lined municipal course but in surprisingly good shape. Fairways carpeted. Greens medium paced. As w/ most municipal courses, cart paths need repair. Carts have windshields & rain cover in back for bags. Will play again.

For a muni nice layout. It is very dry and the course is transferring to the summer grasses. Greens are suffering from lack of consistent rain. City owned property so pristine condition would be hard to accomplish. I would play course again but would call in advance to know green conditions.

Easy course, but fun to play. Greens needed some work, but not too bad. PM play was not crowded, moved right along. Fairways were in good, but not great shape.

The greens had just been aerated so they were not in good condition. In spite of the aeration the greens were much spottier than other recently-aerated greens in my opinion. The fairways also had lots of bald spots.
In spite of all this, the course is a fun play. It is fair and quite forgiving, while still offering good challenges.
I will definitely return later in the Summer when, hopefully, the course is in better shape.

Unfortunately the greens on the front 9 had a bad case of repair from a poana condition, but are coming back.

Played in the middle of the day by myself. The pace of play was excellent, course was in great shape except a few of the greens weren't in great shape. Overall fun round.

Daytona Beach city course is always in good shape, great greens, a few still had sand on them but otherwise good shape

I really like this course. Plenty of challenges. Greens are fairly fast. Now, there are few people playing.

Played North Course for second time this yr. . Greens were not as good as they are on South course. Fairways were in good shape. Staff is always friendly. Always enjoy playing and practicing at Daytona, just wish the driving range was a little larger. Will play there again.

Always like the North and South courses at Daytona. Very windy and I know I will keep coming back to increase the number of my drives that make the fairways. Nice pro shop staff and lots of juice in the carts. Too bad I had to team up with 2 retired low handicappers, though the putting advice Ed gave sure helped.

Golf course was OK. $72 for two was about right.
Checked in right away & were on the course early.
We will play there again

Just a fun course to play. Many risk/reward holes and always in good condition. Fair for all levels of players and very affordable.

Of the two Daytona courses, the North is the more difficult of the two. More water and usually faster greens with much undulation. Some greens are well guarded with sand traps. All in all, Daytona North Course is a great place to play.

Course is somewhat forgiving for those of us not always in the fairway.
Greens were fast and challenging.
No waiting to tee off.
Speed of play was acceptable. Waited only on one paior three.
Value for the money is good.

Straightforward course with minimal obstructions in getting to the greens. Course could have used some rain. Played 18 while the Daytona 500 race cars were practicing, local small plane airport was busy with touch and goes and warmer temperatures were arriving. This course does not have a lot of beauty but has challenges with traps, trees and rolling greens.
