Terrible course management
Tee time 540am no employee showed up till 6am
Sprinklers were on all the greens , my bag and all my clubs got soaked wet. When you pay $85 a round you expect a lot better than what they provided
Great day of golf
The course was in very good condition. The sand bunkers could use more fresh sand.
Good almost great
Played for the first time. Pace of play was great however on a Saturday mid afternoon letting a 5 some go out wasn’t the best idea. Sand traps are horrid, 0 sand all clay might as well just fill them in at this point. Drainage is a problem in some spots. Need more signage on the course there are some holes that are far apart and we didn’t know where we were going. On the bright side the fairways were great and the greens were consistent. Rough was thicker which was nice as it made it more rewarding to hit fairways. Overall it was worth the trip and def will return.
1 Hour to play 3 holes
It took 1 hour to play 3.5 holes and the greens were in very poor shape
Selling the course
Don’t go traps are mud, not maintaining because their building condos
Needs sand
Overall, the course has a nice layout. Fairways were great and greens were decent but straight up dirt in the bunkers. My first time playing the course and I had heard good things, but for $65+ a round I don’t think it’s too much to ask for bunkers to be bunkers not pot holes. Shame because it could be one of the better public courses in the area with a little more TLC. Due to wind, groups in front of us were losing their tee shots off 9 which led to a huge back up so that’s why the 2 stars for pace but I don’t think that’s truly an overall reflection of day in day out pace. I would like to play it again, just hopefully some sand next time.
Great course
My buddy and I had a great day at Royce Brook, the course is very nice, has a nice layout and is a very good shape...except for the bunkers, which were muddy and had NO sand. Staff was excellent inside and out, the 19th hole staff was great as well. We will definitely be going back

For a course of this cost the sand traps and greens in horrible condition.
Wind affect
The course was in great shape and if the wind stopped blowing you could enjoy it. Can’t wait to play again when at least 75 and NOT windy
Cold and windy
Course is in early spring condition. I got a a$49 online price with a cart. Would love to get that price more often. Pace of play was great.
