Royce Brook Golf Club - East Golf Course

Tee boxes and fairways and greens were in great shape bunkers could use some work alot of puddles but we have had alot rain so as expected.

Cart paths are in terrible shape! Bone jarring pot holes everywhere. Pace of play was so so and it wouldn’t be difficult to fix with a ranger who actually was empowered to do the job

Definitely very enjoyable course and setting; not all public courses have the amenities that Royce Brook has like drink cart, grill at the turn and all that Royce Book has in terms of the private side of the club. One of the better public courses I've been to in NJ. Great day to be out with friends and I can also see it being used for clients. Very enjoyable, also worth the midday/midweek price point, carts were in great shape; course in great shape, not overly challenging but fun course to play and can be challenging at times. I'll be back there. Very friendly staff as well.

We were fortunate to play the West Course. This is not a review of the East course. The West was fine..

We’ve played Roycebrook since it opened even when the West course was open to the public. The overall facility seems to be neglected from the potholes in the parking lot to the paths that have ruts and even bigger potholes. The bunkers are terrible - hard to call that sand. Mgt and owners need to put money into to property to keep it up.

Fairways and greens in poor condition, constant noise and distractions from the agronomy crew, tee boxes a disaster.

This used to be a great course but it's been so poorly maintained. Definitely not worth the money, maybe half of what they charge would be fair

Bunkers are mud pits, no sand. Fairways barely have any yardage markers. No one fixes their divots.

Overall, a very enjoyable round. Bring your range finder, as yardage markers are scarce. And if I’m paying $100+ for the round, would it kill them to give us a free small bucket of range balls instead of chargingi us $12? Not clamoring to return there anytime soon.

This course was great course overall. My only knock is that the bunkers were in bad condition compared to the rest of the course. Overall though the course was in phenomenal condition and the layout was great for every level of golfer.

I will definitely be coming back. It’s tough to find a better value than this course in our area.

This is definitely not one of the top 10 courses in NJ. Greens were nice and fairways open but nothing really memorable.

very nice. but very confusing at the start on where the carts were, the starter giving directions and course layout

Once the late outing past by. Tee off was 1:40 and we teed off at 2:05 it was smooth sailing. Course was in great shape including greens. Too many golfers do not replace their divots and the sand traps could be cleaned up a bit however it's a challenging really nice course for $60. PLAY IT!
