About
Delray Beach Golf Club is the championship sister course to the executive Lakeview Golf Club, which is located less than a mile away. It is also less than three miles from downtown Delray Beach. Opened in 1926, Donald Ross designed the layout and over the years, touring professionals on their way to Miami have made it a habit to stop and play the classic design. Its still-growing popularity is a testament to the quality of the round. It provides a quick round that can be played in just over 4 hours but it still offers enough challenges for low handicappers. There is very little water coming into play but with the strategic bunkering that is abundant throughout the course, water features will hardly be missed. The club also has a reputation for being one of the most well maintained public courses in the area as well.

Conditions still bad, issues with staff
Greens are still really bad and the “rough” is as bad as a sand trap most places.
Was supposed to have carts included but when we got there, they said it was walking only and didn’t offer a credit or anything. They told us to contact GolfNow which we did, then they gave us a cart. They really weren’t nice about it, and it was a pretty unpleasant experience to start the day, and made us about 30 min late to start.
Still a good price and had fun.
Staff was very nice and helpful, greens and tees are very very rough
I was a little disapointed with booking this course. I should lower my expectations from now on! Layout seemed cool as there were different types of holes. If the greens weren’t horrible it probabaly could have been an average course. But they were in really bad shape. Wasn’t even worth trying to get it close on long putts. Much better courses here on golf. One for the price.
Great course but greens mehhh
Overall the course was great. The greens on the other hand looked the like the surface of the moon.
Worst course played in a long time
The course is in terrible shape . Not worth even trying to play . Management is advertising that they are closing the course next year for complete renovation . This course should not be open right now .
The course needs an upgrade. I did see that the course will be closed beginning in December for a year to upgrade the course and club house !!!
The course is really starting to slide, especially the greens.
I know the course is being closed at some point, but the greens should be in better shape, and tee boxes were in need of a shave...
