About
Delray Beach Golf Club is the championship sister course to the executive Lakeview Golf Club, which is located less than a mile away. It is also less than three miles from downtown Delray Beach. Opened in 1926, Donald Ross designed the layout and over the years, touring professionals on their way to Miami have made it a habit to stop and play the classic design. Its still-growing popularity is a testament to the quality of the round. It provides a quick round that can be played in just over 4 hours but it still offers enough challenges for low handicappers. There is very little water coming into play but with the strategic bunkering that is abundant throughout the course, water features will hardly be missed. The club also has a reputation for being one of the most well maintained public courses in the area as well.

nice for the money
We had a few hours before a flight home and got a quick early morning round in. The staff was friendly. A mature course, not manicured, clover in the fairways but well kept greens, good layout and fun to play. Nice bang for the buck and wouldn't hesitate to play again.

A course that needs to be on a list to play
Went as a single and got paired up. The weather was phenomenal and hot at certain points of the round. Saw a lone coyote towards the back nine. Greens were in amazing shape, rolled very true. A “must play” course on any vacation list.

Delray Beach Golf Club a Nice Place to Play
Tee box were in good shape as was the fairways. Greens were slow and true. Don’t play major breaks on the greens. Lots of bunkers that were in good shape. Thoroughly enjoyed playing there.

Decent course for the money
First time playing there. Greens in good shape. Pace of play very good. I was surprised the layout was nice fairway’s in decent shape also. I would play there again

Good value
Convenient and plays fast during the week. I play here a few times per year and noticed some improvements, kudos to the staff. Greens are improving but inconsistent speed from green to green. Hey players, help us all and please clean up your ball marks plus a few more while on the greens!!! Same for divots in fairways, there’s sand on every cart so please use it!!!!
