About
Delray Beach Golf Club is the championship sister course to the executive Lakeview Golf Club, which is located less than a mile away. It is also less than three miles from downtown Delray Beach. Opened in 1926, Donald Ross designed the layout and over the years, touring professionals on their way to Miami have made it a habit to stop and play the classic design. Its still-growing popularity is a testament to the quality of the round. It provides a quick round that can be played in just over 4 hours but it still offers enough challenges for low handicappers. There is very little water coming into play but with the strategic bunkering that is abundant throughout the course, water features will hardly be missed. The club also has a reputation for being one of the most well maintained public courses in the area as well.

Delray beach
When I dropped off my clubs the bag guy was nasty when I go to the starter he had no clue what was going on I had to fill out all this paperwork it’s insane then they stacked the tee box 3 groups it took over 5 hours inexcusable never again

Embarrassment to DelRay Beach taxpayers
Very poor conditions on the whole course. Management should be replaced. I’m a resident of DelRay Beach n would never recommend this to anyone.

You should pass that on to the City of Delray. And ask them what they're doing with your Taxes. Not the courses fault. At least it's better than Oramgebrook.
Could be better!!
A couple of the holes were moved from their original position to the fairway because of repairs. This does not give a golfer the ability to judge distances to the hole because the score card shows the original distances. A notice should be given to the golfer before they start on their round.

Great practice day
It was $17 a person with a cart for 9 for 2 of us. We got there early at 720am, it was cool, sunny and we had time to play with no pressure. The course is fine for the price and there is a club house with a bar, restaurant and snack bar. Good times! The 3 star rating are because the course is old and needs work but serves its purpose, with 90% of it just fine. We played 9 of 27 holes so we missed most of it. Next time, 18.

Horrible experience
I’ve golfed here multiple times. The course ranger does laps and continuously interrupts your game as you play. Most recent game in particular In a party of two i had taken a first time golfer who was already nervous and had taken two swings to connect with the ball and move it down the fairway towards the green on hole 2 of the day. The course ranger (an elderly man of 70+ yrs of age) comes out of the woods where he had been hiding and watching people play their game of golf and yells at this first time player to pick their ball up and move along because he was playing too slow. All the while there where no other golfers behind us. Said golfer never felt comfortable the entire rest of the game. Upon finishing our game and returning to the club house to drop off the cart the same course ranger walked over and started pulling clubs out of my bag and matching set asking me if I had stolen them off the course cause someone had lost a similar club earlier in the day. By far the most unprofessional dump of a horse race track deemed by the county to be a public golf course! Will never play another hole at this trash establishment. The worst staff I have ever encountered if 15 years of golfing. Such a bad experience I took time out of my day to write this review to warn others they should take their money and business to any other Golf course in the area!

Low maintenance environment, you get what you pay for
I’ve played here many times. The course is long enough and it’s a decent layout. It’s normally pretty cheap and usually in decent shape for the price. Recently the conditions have been a little touchy but that’s expected in the summer months. Staff is nice, normally not too busy. A good time.

Greens are terrible
Just not well maintained. Greens were awfuls, fairways werent much better.
