About
Delray Beach Golf Club is the championship sister course to the executive Lakeview Golf Club, which is located less than a mile away. It is also less than three miles from downtown Delray Beach. Opened in 1926, Donald Ross designed the layout and over the years, touring professionals on their way to Miami have made it a habit to stop and play the classic design. Its still-growing popularity is a testament to the quality of the round. It provides a quick round that can be played in just over 4 hours but it still offers enough challenges for low handicappers. There is very little water coming into play but with the strategic bunkering that is abundant throughout the course, water features will hardly be missed. The club also has a reputation for being one of the most well maintained public courses in the area as well.

Horrible customer service
I booked on a weekday afternoon. No mention of half of the course being closed because of aeration. The other half looked like it hadn’t been mowed for several days but that wasn’t the issue. They had two groups out that were stacked on top of another. Three groups waiting on one tee box. I gave up and requested a refund and they told me to contact Golf Now. No offer for a raincheck in spite of the greeting by a staff member that said “it’s a sh&t show out there”. They knew it was a mess and still sold tee times. Bad business and the manger couldn’t have cared less. Will not be returning and I would suggest you find a different course. Many more that are in better shape and employees that value people playing.

Not worth the money
I live in DelRay Beach so I’m very disappointed at the management that is responsible for the poor maintenance for this course. I play 5 or 6 different courses in palm beach county that are far better cared for then DelRay and for the same price and some for less.
I won’t be back to play here again.

Nice size course! I think the weeds are definitely growing better than the grass!

Review Delray
Not many players on course. Breezed around first 9 holes as a single. Joined up with another single at #10 and played behind a very slow foursome on the back nine. Enjoyed my round. The ownership has vastly improved the sand dunes with a good amount of sand. The greens are growing back in after aireation but need to rolled. Fairways need work. I always enjoy playing the course and like the layout. People are very friendly who work there and helpful.
