Good but…….
Played this course on a Saturday at mid day. Course condition was surprisingly dry given all the bad weather. I would imagine rough was worse than normal as any shots off fairway caused lost balls. Greens were in great condition but very slow. I would love to play this course in the middle of summer to compare conditions
Fairways and ball goes missing haha
Lovely course great views yeh it's still coming out of winter but to many daiys flowers over course makes hard to find ball....very challenging greens I liked..definitely worth a game I will go back in summer
Hidden Gem
This is my 'go to' course when most others are closed due to weather and wet conditions. Drains really well and is a very challenging and picturesque course with some fantastic views.
Great winter course.
Tees off at 11am after getting the round for £13. Absolute bargain.
Great winter course. Two holes were closed due to drainage but the guy in the pro shop said we could play 17 & 18 again to make up for this.
Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a good, winter course.
Boxing Day Fathers First Game
I took my Dad out for his first proper game of golf, he is completely new and the course although for him was pretty challenging, he throughly enjoyed his time. Working his way around the course. Thankfully we tee'd of pretty late and didn't really have many people behind us to disturb.
Conditions was very good considering all the rain we've had, the course has good drainage. Two of the greens where temporary, but otherwise I thought was in very good condition.
I'll certainly be back to play, and hopefully with my Dad in toe sometime. Thumbs up from us.
Very good parkland course
Joined 2 members for my round who made me very welcome. Interesting layout with both tree lined and some more open holes. Many courses in the area were closed due to heavy rainfall in the days before my game. But this course had taken the rain well and wasn't too wet. Greens were in very good condition for the time of year. True and still fairly quick. Very enjoyable round.
Best course iv played
Amazing course if your looking to improve your game plenty of dogleg fairways small greens and fast and tricky, great parr 3s one is 236 yards Amazing, great course to improve your game of golf
Awesome course
1st of all the best greens I've played on in the last 12months true n fast for this time of year especially with the weather we've had top marks too the ground staff, staff at shop n members very friendly, can't wait too go back
Great course
The course was outstanding greens were in great condition for the time of year and for the price you can’t go wrong, alls I could say wrong is there is a temporary green on one of the back 9 holes can’t remember number but i can’t complain at that considering the time of year.
A hidden gem
Although a little off the beaten track this was a little gem of a golf course. We got lucky with the weather. The bar staff were brill and the food was very reasonable and tasty

Excellent decision to play this course - half way between our house and my sons!
Lovely setting. Very busy which disrupted our speed of play., but it was Bank Holiday Monday.
Will definitely play again.
