Grande Vista Golf Club

This course is for a quick practice round. Short and sweet! Great location.

My wife and I stayed at the Marriott Grand Vista. I brought my golf clubs and booked a round. It was not disappointing. The course is well groomed from tee box to green. It can be challenging with water everywhere, mid bunkers, nature areas, along with water guarding greens. The distance is easily manageable with 3 tees to choose from. It winds around the resort, but not near any building, which often is the case with golf courses in communities. My only gripe is the number of families out playing with their youngsters, which slowed play on occasion. On the other hand, it was nice to see families out playing together ; kids have to start somewhere.

Grand Vista is a 9 hole short course. It will do in a pinch if you cannot get on anywhere else. the course is always in good shape and generally pace of play is not an issue. It is only 9 holes so 18 would be playing it twice, It is not bad if other courses are not available. It does have an excellent locker room area if that is desired.

Open but at times challenging. I'll be back every time I'm in Orlando.

I had to wait more than 5-7 min every hole to tee off ...

Scenery was beautiful. Course was in great condition considering the storms from the previous two days.

Nice course not overly difficult, a lot of par threes. Fun to play 18,changed tee boxes on second nine for some variety. Course was very wet, cart path only . Had fun played nine holes with a very friendly member and played the second nine alone. I would recommend this course to everyone, stress free golf.

Slow play with to many new players with instructors. Had a foursome in front of me which spent way to much time looking for lost balls or ball hawking in the woods. Ranger is needed to keep new players without knowledge of game rules to keep moving.

Course layout was good and greens in good shape.

Always enjoy this Executive Course. Interesting and challenging but not long and tiring Staff seemed distant maybe because of Covid. No one picked up or helped me with clubs before golfing or upon finishing. Been here in past and service and friendliness were great. Also, really missed the Grill being open.

Couse was very short. 4 par 3s and one pae 5. Course was flat with little character. Greens were in good condition as wss most of the course.
