About
The Architects Golf Club is a unique layout that honors legendary course designers including Donald Ross, A.W. Tillinghast, and Alistair Mackenzie. Each hole is named after a famous designer, beginning with Old Tom Morris. The opening par 5 pays homage to St. Andrews' designer through the use of the existing features as hazards such as the rock wall and the sloping hillside that the green is deftly carved into. One of the most memorable holes is the 13th, another par 5 that will give you a taste of what it's like to play Augusta. This Alistair Mackenzie-inspired hole offers many risks and rewards. Golfers will face fairways bunkers and a pond on the left and then a creek that runs diagonally in front of the triple-tiered green. Position is the key to maneuvering this tough hole.

Greens were great
My group plays about 25-30 rounds a year. We have not been to Architects in about 5 years. We will be back this summer for sure. These are the the best greens I have played in a long time. The course overall was in good shape. The staff was friendly. The only negative I have is that there was a wedding reception there when we finished our round, we wanted to see if the bar was still open and were told to go downstairs to the basement bar. We were told someone would be down to take our order. We waited 15 minutes and decided to leave, no one came to take our order. No big deal, golf was great and that's why we go.
A Gem of the East Coast
I always love playing this course, from natural grass driving range to all the short game warmup facilities, to super friendly staff, but most of all, a very beautiful well maintained course. Looking forward to playing another round here!
Great track
architects is a challenging but fair track. The conditions were private club caliber the 2 times in have played it. The concept of designing holes based on the characteristics of famous architects is very well done. Every hole is different so you get a lot of variety.
Definite must play course
This course is awesome. The staff were extremely great and friendly. This course is a must play for anyone who claims to be a golfer. Every hole is a challenge and makes you really think.

Architects review
Played here last year and loved the course. It was in descent shape and fun to play. Just played here for my second time. Seems like it hasn't gotten any tlc since last year.
I got a good deal on golf now, so it was worth playing. The greens had been aerated in the last week or two, but I knew that up front.
It's a fun layout and it is not a difficult course. It is worth checking out, but I wouldn't pay full price unless they improve on the conditions.
EXCELLENT
Absolutely beautiful course and very well maintained! !! Staff is one of the most friendly and helpful in the state. Manager was very courteous and professional. Booked through Golf Now and got a great price. Only negative was the pace of play but with this course and playing on a weekend that should be expected. Will definitely be back.

My friend made a hole in one at the 2nd hole on 4/26/2014. It was fantastic!!!

Architects
This is a great golf course, forgiving off the tee, super greens with two and three tiers, great par 3s. Reachable par 5s , great staff!! Very nice practice facility! My only regret, is I don't live closer to this course!! Play this course , you will walk away feeling good about your round, even if it isn't up to par!! Lol

First time playing this notable course. Play time was 3 hours and friendly staff. This course should be on every golfers list of courses to play!
Great layout
Great layout, great value this time of year. For a late November round the course was in great shape. Would absolutely play again.
Good golf course
My friend and I always tried to play this course due to good review. We got a perfect deal from golf now in a beautiful afternoon (above 60 degree) in the fall. Course conditions are good except a little bit windy.
Nice course with historic design flair!
I really enjoyed playing this course because you get a chance to experience various holes that were fashioned from great designers from golf history. From Ross to Robert Trent Jones, you'll be amazed at the psychological head game these men tried to play through their cleaver designs. Seeing and playing is believing!

This is a must play course. We played it off season and it was still in very good condition. We had a great time. Will be back next season with more clients.

Wonderful fall day. The course conditions were fantastic. We scored a great deal on golfnow. I would recommend this course to anyone. Fast greens, variety of tee boxes, and well manicured fairways. The 19th hole was well stocked with one dollar drafts after golf. HIGHLY RATED!
