The Deltona Club holds the distinction of being ranked as one of the top 20 public golf courses in Florida. The club has roots that date back to the late 1950s. It is a remake of one of the state's earliest planned communities. Bobby Weed redesigned the golf course, improving its aesthetic appeal and giving it more playability. The course sprawls across rolling hills that provide dramatic elevation changes throughout. It is a far cry from the many flat public courses that exist throughout Florida. The natural contours of the terrain helped determine the strategic placement of the numerous bunkers, many of which were added during Weed's renovation. The Deltona Club's parkland layout has an interesting mix of holes with some that even have the feel of a links course.

Course not in great shape

I have played this course many times, it is in town i live. This was probably the worst i seen it. The tee box and fairways are okay. But dont hit it in rough, grass not cut. Have prickly all over and sand trap are in horrible shape. The greens were getting work on, but some the greens were in bad shape. I hope they get this course in better shape. Nice staff and like course close to home.

Over view of Deltona county club

Course was in good condition condition considering it had been recently aerated. Nice layout especially if you don’t like water. No water holes on course. Golf carts are in good condition and set up ready to go for you. Bath rooms with running water on course. Best course for the money in Volusia County. Staff are excellent! Food is great! Beer is ice cold! Life is good.

I like the course layout

The course had been aerated which was posted when I booked the tee times so I knew it would have been aerated other than that it played okay for a course that had been aerated and normally if it's usually plays much better for me when there's no variation

Donna is ruining the course

Donna kicked myself and my girlfriend off the course today on the 10th hole because of “inappropriate dress code”. She offered the let us finish if my girlfriend would cover up. Didn’t know the Deltona Club operates on Sharia Law. She wouldn’t refund us for even the back 9. We will never be back. Will definitely be contacting USGA. They don’t deserve affiliation

Course a little challenging

First time playing here and wasn't too bad. You can tell they are working on the course. Bunkers need some TLC but, if you don't hit a ball in them they're ok! Will play there again.

Dishonest Workers. Watch You Items if you Leave Them.

My review is based on me turning my cart into the cart barn guys and leaving my Bushnell on the metal column. I called back to the Office after noticing that I left it there and i was gone. Now I do take blame for leaving it however I have left items before and the more honest course gentlemen and women turned it in. Just an FYI.

Downhill

I have played here numerous times in the last 2 years. Played yesterday and vowed I will never play there again. Course is dry and aweful. The tees will not stand on their own til you hit bedrock. Do t waste your money.

I have to say that typically I take reviews with a grain of salt. That being said, please read reviews about the Deltona Club and take heed. People were great, layout is ok (if you know where you are going), but the course conditions are poor at best. I hope folks an turn this place around!
