About

DeBary Golf & Country Club, a Lloyd Clifton-designed course sits on hilly land. The layout is fascinating. No two holes feel similar. Only two holes have water, but there is significant sand. Dense woods of pine and evergreen border the fairways. The rolling fairways and natural layout give the golf course a Carolinas feel. The par 5s are all in the 500- to 550-yard range. The par 3s are all approximately the same distance, running 180 to 190 yards from the back tees, and 150 to 160 yards from the white tees. DeBary is one of the few Clifton golf courses that do not top out at more than 7,000 yards.

Great course

Worth the ride over from Daytona and enough elevation change to change Florida Golf. For me, I've enjoyed it for 30 years and still do my first and only holy one after playing 457 years!!!!

Great

Played today for the first time and was very pleased. Greens and teeboxes were great, fairways in good condition with the rough being a little too rough in certain areas but still good. Great layout for a semi challenging player. One thing is some cart paths are under construction. Besides that great course, would play again for sure.

Challenging layout

Greens rolled well, a few spots under repair on some of the greens but pin placements were always in good spots. The fairways were in good condition and tee boxes were fair. One of the best courses in south Volusia.

Great conditions

Best course in West Volusia! Very nice tee to green. Very little rot on a couple of the greens but doesn’t come into play. Highly recommend! Don’t waist your money on Victoria Hills it’s a too far gone.
