Deltona Club
About
The Deltona Club holds the distinction of being ranked as one of the top 20 public golf courses in Florida. The club has roots that date back to the late 1950s. It is a remake of one of the state's earliest planned communities. Bobby Weed redesigned the golf course, improving its aesthetic appeal and giving it more playability. The course sprawls across rolling hills that provide dramatic elevation changes throughout. It is a far cry from the many flat public courses that exist throughout Florida. The natural contours of the terrain helped determine the strategic placement of the numerous bunkers, many of which were added during Weed's renovation. The Deltona Club's parkland layout has an interesting mix of holes with some that even have the feel of a links course.

Good Course to play and compete
Good course to play and to compete at. Plenty of challenges and trouble. This course should be on your short list...
Overbooked
Only complains, was waiting 5 min at every tee box, and bar didn't have Coors light.
Good place to play
Fun course, A LOT of bunkers, very hilly, tough in the wind, fairways seemed a bit high and greens were a bit slow, but for the price it’s a great course and the layout makes it fun! Definitely coming back again!
The fairways and the greens are in pretty good shape.
The traps need to have rakes in or around them but there are none present. It took about 5 minutes for the first and only employee I saw to speak to me. The restroom was not clean - very disappointing. I will play this course again but will be looking for improvement in these areas.
Prime Condition
Course in excellent shape from the boxes to the greens. Sand traps aplenty so bring your sand game and course management skills. Definitely a top five in Central Florida!
Good Layout
As others have mentioned it would have been nice if someone had told us that S2 ( the only indicator that was the next hole) was a dogleg right as we hit our second shots into the ninth green by mistake. Course markings could be improved but overall challenging course and I look forward to playing again. Greens were hairy and slow; could be cut tighter. Elevation changes were a welcome sight for a Central Florida golf course
Outstanding
Could not have ask for a better set up. All was great i could not imagine a better day.
Good review but some bad reviews
Most of the positive reviews are spot on. But much is being left out. What is being left out is there are no 1 through 18 holes. There is a North nine and a South nine and none are marked. It is easy to make a wrong turn and be on the wrong fairway. There are no markings to tell you if you are on a par 3,4, or five. And if you start marking on the wrong side of the score card, forget about it. After awhile you will start to notice the red spray painted numbers on the cart path, marked N5, S7, etcetera. Forget about pleasantries in the club house, mostly there are none. Help to make your day and play more enjoyable are not there. Yes I will play there again, but only because I know what I am getting into. And that green at the end of the fairway on the S2, it's not your green, yours is a dog leg right. I was wondering why the maintenance person would not move on my shot to the green and he starts yelling at me to go hard right.
Good Course to play and compete
Deltona Golf Course is always in good condition which makes it a good place to play and compete at. If you fear sand than you may have a good chance of working on that part of your game at Deltona. This course has at least 200 places to put your ball in the beach. Have fun it's wirth it...
Course is good not great, but favorite place to practice
Deltona is my favorite place to practice. The course isn't amazing by any stretch of the imagination, but they always keep things to a decent level given the amount of traffic that comes through the course.
There practice facilities are excellent for something which is open to the public and used a ton.
You can almost always find a deal. Just be sure to check your GPS app before beginning because they like to change the 9's depending on the month.
Deltona Golf
Course wouldn’t offer rain check after 9 holes and they stated we knew that it was going to rain, but they closed the course less than an hour later.
Greens are slow and bumpy
The last time we played they sanded the greens without telling us and now the greens are in pretty bad condition. If you’re looking for a hilly course in north of Orlando there aren’t many options so this course is nice... I just wish they could get everything in better condition.
